We had an absolutely incredible experience with Global Ballooning Australia!From the beginning, the team was more than happy to accommodate my requests and genuinely supported my plan to propose during the flight. Their kindness and willingness to help made such an important moment even more special.A special thank you to George from the ground crew, whose warm and friendly personality immediately made us feel welcome. He kindly arranged for us to stand in the section of the basket where the GoPro was set up, allowing our special moment to be captured perfectly.I’m also extremely grateful to Kiff, the Director and Chief Pilot of Global Ballooning Australia. He gave me the perfect heads-up when it was time to propose and happily helped document the moment for us. An unforgettable experience!
We had a great time! We met at Chateau Yering at 4:45am, and were taken to the launch site at St Andrews. The briefings by Storm, the ground crew, and Harry, the pilot, were comprehensive and well explained. Safety is clearly a priority for Go Wild Ballooning. Getting in and out of the basket wasn't an issue. A small set of steps helped those of us who had some minor mobility concerns. With only seven passengers in the basket, there was plenty of room, and it was easy to hear Harry pointing out the sights during the flight, which lasted just over an hour. Harry read the winds perfectly, and we landed in the grounds of Chateau Yering after a spectacular flight. As our flight was in September, the morning temperature was just below zero when we were waiting to launch. Waterproof shoes, gloves, a hat, and a warm jacket were essential. The breakfast at Chateau Yering after the flight was a great way to wind down and chat to the other passengers and the pilot. Highly recommended!

Amazing experience in Melbourne with Global Ballooning Australia
For our first trip to Australia (coming from the New York area), we decided to take a hot air balloon ride over Melbourne. This was my second time in a balloon and my husband's first time. From start to finish, the team at Global Ballooning Australia was exceptional. The communication from the team helping plan the trip was great, and the morning of the ride was spectacular. Pato led our journey with excellent assistance from Anton and the rest of the crew. The team was knowledgeable about ballooning, Melbourne and Australia in general. We felt safe and comfortable during the entire journey. The views over the city were wonderful, the sunrise lovely and the skill shown by the team in piloting and landing the balloon terrific. I cannot recommend Global Ballooning Australia enough--such a wonderful, knowledgeable and friendly crew and we loved that it's a family business!

This was truly a once in a lifetime experience! Chris was an awesome guide and made our balloon ride an unforgettable experience. We were in town for the NFL game in Melbourne, and he made sure we got to go close to the stadium and see the view of the field from above. It was so fun and we felt completely safe. The breakfast after was such a nice addition too! Would recommend this tour to everyone!

Absolutely amazing experience from start to finish! 🎈We were incredibly lucky to see the beautiful sea of clouds (云海) during the flight, together with a stunning sunrise. The view was truly breathtaking and made the whole experience even more special and unforgettable.The team, Anton pilot, George, Nick and Queen were also very professional, friendly and attentive throughout the entire experience. Everything was well organised, and the service was excellent from beginning to end. We felt very well taken care of the whole time.Definitely one of the highlights of our trip and an experience I would highly recommend to anyone. Thank you for such a wonderful and memorable morning!
