Absolutely amazing experience! We had so much fun, and Ziggy was an incredible guide. He brought a great mix of education, fun and competitiveness to the trip, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable.The whole session was really well organised, and Ziggy made us feel safe and comfortable while still encouraging us to push ourselves and have a go at everything. The scenery was stunning, and there was a perfect balance of swimming, climbing, jumping and exploring. Photos and videos included too!We had such a brilliant time and would 100% recommend this experience to anyone looking for something fun, adventurous and a little bit different. We’ll definitely be back!

The whole experience was brilliant and the hosts super attentive, I was even contacted the day before we were due to take part offering another day to take part because the weather was not looking too great.We still went on the day originally booked and even though a little windy and a bit of rain it didn’t dampen the experience at all.Full instruction given before we head out and throughout the safari too - it was a bit of a workout but so much fun!!We were lucky enough to see a bit of the local wildlife with a seal showing his face with information provided by the guide about their breeding habits and local seal population.My only regret is that me and my partner have not done it before and certainly will plan to do so again in the future!!Thank you for a great experience - totally worth the money without doubt!!

We spent four lovely days in Cornwall with Nigel as our guide. He is fun, courteous, thoughtful, well-organized, and knowledgeable. My husband and I had the best time with Nigel who made sure we saw all the best that gorgeous Cornwall has to offer. If you are heading to Cornwall, make sure you book Nigel well in advance. He is a joy!

We are just back after a family trip to Cornwall with Nigel Makin and it has been such a wonderful refreshing experience. We are taking back beautiful memories of a lifetime back with us thanks to Nigel. We had a fantastic day touring Dartmoor National Park with Nigel. He was truly exceptional. Nigel is a conversationalist. He's knowledgeable, friendly, and engaging, and he made our whole family feel comfortable and welcome from the start.Nigel put together a brilliant itinerary that kept all five of us entertained for the entire day, including kids aged 10, 13, and 17 (not an easy task!). He struck the perfect balance between history, scenery, and fun, and even created a quiz at the end of the day just for the kids, which they loved.The ultimate endorsement came from our 10‑year‑old, who said Nigel was the best guide of our entire UK trip — even better than the Gentleman Warder at the Tower of London (and that's high praise because the Gentleman Warder's are really engaging tour guides).Thank you to Nigel for a truly memorable day on Dartmoor. My husband and I were visiting his mum, who is 91, and wanted to take her on an outing, something different for her but also manageable. Nigel's tour was a delight! He made sure it was tailored to mum's mobility challenges and she was able to see beautiful places and have a lovely fish and chips lunch. Wonderful experience for all of us!

Nigel Makin is one of the best tour operators we’ve experienced on our many private guided tours world wide. On time, historical whizz, funny and accommodating throughout! We spent 7 days touring from Bath, into Devon then Cornwall. Do not hesitate to book any of Nigel’s tours or two combined as we did. I simply googled south west tours from Tasmania and truly hit the jackpot. We will forever have happy memories of our time in Devon and Cornwayy, but especially our time spent with him. Amazing, knowledgeable about the sea, tides and very good safety brief, Excellent jumps, good history given about the area , formation of the rocks, and wildlife. We saw seals and birds. Fantastic time , he went at your pace, gave encouragement, very friendly Back to the jumps. All of various heights, boarder walking, fun was had by all, just fantastic.

Down to earth, friendly and relaxed, yet well organised. A great way to spend an afternoon as a family with tweens/teens, exploring hidden coves, caves, arches and cliffs (and jumping off them). Would definitely do it again!

Really great trip. Kieran our guide was excellent. We went into sea caves and saw seals. No experience necessary, but you are on the sea: one chap in our group capsized. He was rescued and wad fine, but it is not a row on the park boating lake.
