Diana is a fantastic tour guide! We highly recommend her. We loved the boat tour, games, axolotl sanctuary visit, and plants visit. Our son was especially obsessed with his axolotl craft project! Don't sleep on this tour especially if you are traveling with kids.

This was my 2nd class with Diego, and I plan to take 1 with him every time I am in Mexico City (about 3 times a year.) He creates a wonderfully warm and relaxed environment. for everyone, and he is incredibly encouraging about trying different techniques, designs, & colors. Also, his own work is extraordinary, so it’s fun to take inspiration from him! Plus at the beginning of each class he gives fascinating info about the history of alibrijes and the 2!different schools of Alebrije painters (Oaxacan & México City). I look forward to future classes and creating my own menagerie of alibrijes with new designs. Thank you, Diego!

Our family took this tour w Diana as our guide and Jose as the oarsman. Diana kept our kids engaged and the axelots were the highlight of the tour. The Pier was also a perfect location. If you have kids 3-10 years of age, could not recommend the tour enough to avoid the party boats.

We really enjoyed the company of Esmeralda. He is a very nice, patient and attentive person. His knowledge and family history of embroidery has impressed us. Thank you very much for the experience 💕

Alejandro created a magical experience that me and my family will forever cherish. We’re not only able to create amazing, beautiful piñatas – which my kids refuse to break and want to hang his decorations, but we bonded with multiple generations of our family. We learn about history and culture And the importance and symbolism of the piñata. And from age 5, to age 80 years old, everyone loved it!

Alejandro was AMAZING. Not only was it an amazing experience for my family to bond – we had grandmas and my kids, my kids said it was a funniest thing they have ever done! We also learned about the history, culture… It was so above and beyond just a piñata class. We came away with an amazing memory, new knowledge, and beautiful piñatas.

Diego is a great teacher. The activity location features artisinal shops- we were able to get all Of our high quality gifts after the painting activity. The kids all really enjoyed their painting experience

Diego was warm & welcoming with terrific suggestions. Class location was fun & lively. Mixed class of adults & children—a good time was had by all! At the end, Diego used a hairdryer to ensure everyone’s folk art masterpieces were perfectly dry & then bubble wrapped so that our bright beasties could reach far away destinations in perfect condition. Absolutely amazing tour! If you have kids then this is the right tour to choose. Diana and Jose were great hosts. Absolutely perfect with young kinds (4 and 6) in our case. We learned a lot and loved the two stops to see the farm and Axolotls. We went early at 10am which I’d recommend, before the party boats get going.

Don’t hesitate - if you are coming with kids, book this tour!!! Since we were traveling with a 4 year old, we did a lot of kid-friendly tours while in Mexico City and this was by far our favorite. Diana, our tour guide, was outstanding. She paced it super well and the game and painting activity kept our girl engaged and entertained while we could enjoy the ride. We also enjoyed our stops to see axolotls and the floating gardens. It was the perfect amount of time and our 4 year old’s favorite activity of our week long trip! We did it on a Saturday but started at 9 before the party boats are out and it felt like we had the canals to ourselves. I highly recommend this tour and having Diana as your tour guide!

The instructor was great and guided us through the whole process. His patience and direction resulted in my 12-year old daughter and I having a great time and with a result that impressed us.

This tour was one of the highlights of our trip to CDMX. Diana was a gracious, kind and knowledgeable host. She was very attentive to our family and is great with kids. Our son enjoyed the games and crafts and we had a very memorable and relaxing journey. Five stars and highly recommend if you have kids.

This was a highlight of our time in CDMX! Diana is a wonderful guide, she’s kind smart and very good with kids we definitely recommend her for the future visitors.We came with our two daughters 5.5 and 11 years old and they had a blast! It’s just over two hours and a peaceful cruise down the canals. We went on a Friday morning and we were almost the only ones on the water. We stopped to visit a little farm/cooperative and an axolotl sanctuary. The girls loved it!

We loved our trip on the trajinera in Xochimilco with Diana! We had a 7, 5 and 2 year old with us. She was incredibly knowledgeable about the area and the history and spoke very clear English that our children could understand. She taught them so much about Mexican culture, axolotls and Xochimilco in a way that they could understand and enjoy! They had little Mexican dulces and snacks and several fun activities for the kids! Also it is scheduled for a more calm part of the day and they go on different routes where there are no parties and drinking. I was hoping we’d see some vendors and mariachis on boats also but it was too early for that. I highly recommend this tour for anyone with kids.

Great experience. Diana was so enthusiastic and knowledgeable. She tailored the outing to my son's (10 yearz old) preferences, making the time fly. Highlights: acolytls viewing, feeding goats, crafts project, and purchasing yummy tacos, corn, and quesadillas from a vendor on a passing boat.
