great time creating own own tagliatelle pasta and spritz drinks. We were welcomed with a prosecco and had a really friendly group. Our hosts Francesca and Martina guided us through the process and made it a great evening. Ample drink throughout. The only slight snag was the joining instructions which took us to the wrong location. It was only by chance looking at other attendees and comparing notes that we found the right place

Such a fun experience and so worth the money. We learned about the history of food in Bologna followed by a fun and interactive cooking class. Our guide/instructor was passionate about his work which made it fun for us. I'll forever remember this class whenever I'm eating pasta in the U.S. And perhaps trying to make the tortellini too. This was a relaxed but great fun evening. We made Tiramasu and then went on to the more challenging pasta. It was a great laugh and we got to eat what we made! The drinks were provided generously and the teacher was excellent. Definitely worth doing on a trip to Bologna.

Our PastaMama experience was one of the highlights of our time in Bologna. From the moment we stepped into Maria's apartment, we felt at home. Her hospitality was warm and genuine, and she made the whole group feel like welcome guests rather than tourists on a class.The hands-on pasta making was fantastic. We made two classics: tagliatelle with a rich, slow-cooked ragù, and tortelloni filled with cheese, served in an amazing butter and sage sauce with a secret ingredient that took it to another level. Everyone got to roll, cut, and shape the dough themselves, and Maria guided us patiently every step of the way. Her explanations were full of knowledge about the ingredients, the techniques, and the traditions behind Bolognese cooking, which made the experience about much more than just following a recipe.The best part came at the end, when we all sat down together to enjoy what we had made. Both dishes were delicious, and sharing the meal with the team made it even more special.If you want an authentic, personal taste of Bologna's food culture, we highly recommend cooking with Maria.
