Naz was such a great tour guide. It was an awesome experience.

We really enjoyed our cooking class. Francesca and Claudia were great. They explained everything with a little humor added. We met some great people in the class. The pasta was amazing and I can’t wait to try it at home.

Francesca led a great tour that hit all the food highlights and some sites around the city. She was very knowledgeable about the food and culture and answered all our questions with interesting insights about the culture and cuisine.

The tour with Francesca was great! Very friendly snd knowledgeable. There was a delay with the train so she was late but they absolutely made it up to us. We went on a lot of stops and had some great food! We also got to walk a bit between meals which was nice. It was a small group too which was nice

We’ve done multiple cooking classes over the years and we’ve never had that much fun in a class before!

We made lasagna and gelato. It was amazing that we made such delicious food out of the simplest of ingredients! Would highly recommend!

Such a fun experience and so worth the money. We learned about the history of food in Bologna followed by a fun and interactive cooking class. Our guide/instructor was passionate about his work which made it fun for us. I'll forever remember this class whenever I'm eating pasta in the U.S. And perhaps trying to make the tortellini too. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐The perfect way to experience Bologna — and Eric was exceptional!We’ve done plenty of food and wine experiences on our travels, and this was one of the great ones.Bologna is already a dangerous place to visit if you have absolutely no self-control around good food, and spending a few hours with Eric only made the situation considerably worse!From the very beginning, Eric was warm, engaging, incredibly knowledgeable and just great company. What really made the tour special was that it never felt like we were being marched around ticking off a list of foods. Instead, it felt like wandering through Bologna with a very knowledgeable local friend who knew exactly where to go, what to eat, what to drink and — most importantly — the stories behind it all.I should note we were lucky enough to score a private tour, which made it even more special.The food was sensational, matched with some great wine, and we learned so much about Bologna, its food culture and the extraordinary amount of passion and tradition that sits behind what appears on the plate.Eric struck that perfect balance between giving us fascinating information and simply allowing us to relax, laugh, eat and enjoy ourselves. There was nothing scripted or mechanical about it. He clearly loves Bologna and its food, and that enthusiasm is infectious.We finished completely full, slightly more educated, considerably happier and wondering why on earth we hadn’t come to Bologna sooner.If you love food, wine, local stories and discovering a city beyond the obvious tourist sights, do this tour.And if you can get Eric as your guide, even better.An absolutely brilliant experience and one of the highlights of our time in Italy. Creamy Gelato that you make!! Our instructor, Mattia, guided us thru the steps to make some of the most wonderful gelato that I ever tasted…amaretto, peach sorbet, and creamy dreamy chocolate! We had a great time and our bellies are satisfied!!! Grazie Mattia
