Excellent experience Bikes are new and well equipped Our guide for the day- Valentin- was very passionate about wines and clearly loves his job. Very nice fellow.Just a great day out explaining the geology, topography, terroir, climat etc etc.I knew a little bit about wines starting the day and a lot more by the end!!

This was a highlight of our trip! Yeah, the proprietor buries truffles ahead of time for the dog to find but it is not always season for hunting. Upon entering, you find yourself in a small but very full area of everything truffle. There is a dining room as well as an outdoor eating area. We first had a presentation about truffles that was interesting. We then went out and saw Talia the Lagotto in action at work. Very cool to see her interact with her human. Afterward we were presented with a FABULOUS lunch. I won't spoil it for you, you'll find out when you're eating when you get there.

Val was a great tour guide who spoke good English. He was very informative regarding the area, the vineyards and how the Burgundy wine area is different and unique in the way the land is plotted. I would highly recommend him. We rented bikes from Active Tours in Beaune. It was a full day of biking, lunch, tastings and 2 wineries.

We had a great day with Eric and a great group of people. Spectacular scenery and electric bikes made the ride easy. Nice paced day with lovely lunch to break up day. Eric is so knowledgeable of area and the wines. He delivered his knowledge with humour way and easy to understand analogy to understand wine labelling in region. We loved the winery at chassagne-Montrachet as beautiful building and great wine! Went back and bought bottle 2 days later. Great way to learn how to cycle the region as so many bike tracks easy signage. In fact we then spent next 2 days on hired bikes exploring further.

What a fun way to spend an afternoon and learn about truffles and truffle hunting especially the terrific dog who loves her job! She is so clever. Highly recommend!

Very pleasant time spent with Nicolas and his dog Taiga! We learn a lot, the bond between them is magical, and the humor of the master is the little cherry on the cake (not to say truffle) very appreciable! The meal lived up to expectations , tasty and elaborate, and above all well stocked in truffles! We had a great time.

Biking through Burgundy was a bucket-list experience for me—and it was truly magnificent! 🚴‍♀️🍷The e-bike was easy and fun to operate, and our group was lively and wonderful company. Our guide, Eric, was an expert cyclist with an impressive knowledge of Burgundy’s wines and history. He shared his expertise so kindly and patiently, answering the many questions we peppered him with along the way.I highly recommend this bike ride with Eric. It was an unforgettable way to experience the beauty, history, and incredible wines of Burgundy! 🇫🇷

We had a great experience on our bike tour and wine tasting with Valentin of Bourgogne Evasion By Active Tours. Valentin was an awesome guide and he gave us a lot of good information about the Burgundy region and the art and science of winemaking. He also explained why the Burgundy region is one of the best places in the world to make wine. We also had a great visit to the Domaine Bernard Delagrange to see how these wines are made and to taste some great Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. We highly recommend Valentin an Active Tours in Beaune.

Thank you Carinn for a superb tour. Half a day cycling past beautiful vineyards and famous villages right on the doorstep of Beaune. Trip included two small tastings en route, a full tasting at a chateau, all accompanied by a knowledgeable, passionate friendly guide. Thoroughly recommend this!
