It’s been a year since my mom, aunt, and I did the Captivating Cotswolds Tour with Matthias, and we still talk about it regularly and look back on it with so much fondness. Matthias’s communication leading up to the tour was clear, and we had no concerns or questions leading into the day. We spent the day looking at beautiful scenery, hearing about the history of the areas, architecture, and at times the food. There was something for everyone, and it felt like the more Matthias got to know us, the more he catered the tour to our interests. Also, it’s worth noting that all 3 of us are gluten free, and we were able to safely enjoy a lovely meal and drink at a quaint local restaurant. It was our favorite day of our trip, and we couldn’t recommend him enough. We can’t wait to come back and do another tour!

I went on the Rock & Roll tour in Bath yesterday, and honestly, I had the most fabulous time.From the moment I met my guide, John, he was completely engaging. He didn’t just show us around Bath — he took us on a journey through music, stories, history and his own incredible experiences.We heard fascinating stories about Muse, Glastonbury, Van Morrison, Tears for Fears, The Beatles and so much more. There were moments that left me thinking, “Wait… I need to look that up when I get home!” — including a particular Beatles photograph that is now firmly on my research list!But what really made the experience special was John’s passion for music. Hearing about his own musical journey, his connection with Tears for Fears, his time in The Graduate, and being able to ask him questions along the way made this feel so much more than a walking tour.I would recommend this to anyone who loves music. Highly recommend this tour, especially if you love music or enjoy experiences that are a little different from the usual Bath sightseeing. This was such a fun and unexpected highlight of our time in Bath! We came away with a whole new appreciation for the city and its incredible musical history. Our guide, Shaun, was fantastic. His knowledge, enthusiasm and personal connections made the stories come alive in a way that you simply wouldn’t get from a standard walking tour. You get the stories, the personalities, the venues, the history and all those fascinating little details that make you feel like you’re getting a glimpse behind the scenes. Definitely worth adding to your Bath itinerary!

We love the Cotswolds. We booked a private tour for mums 90th birthday because she’s never been to the Cotswolds. She loved it so much. Richard is great driver the car very comfortable with aircon. Would recommend as you see what you want in your own time without trying to keep up with others or waiting for others to before we can move to the next village. We were picked up from hotel & was taken back to hotel when we finished. Richard told us about the history too.

Bath is a beautiful place with a fascinating history, There is so much to see and learn and you could not find a better tour guide than Daniel. He is born and bred in Bath and is clearly proud of his city. He keeps you engaged with his stories and knows a great deal that he is passionate about sharing. I have done this tour 4 times in the last several years as I bring my US visitors to Bath. I always learn something new. I highly recommend his tour.

We first did Dan’s tour of Cheddar and Wells a few years ago, and had such a lovely experience that when we came back to the area, we knew we wanted to book him again. This time, we asked Dan to take us from Bristol to the Birds of Prey Project, and once again, he made the whole day feel really special.Dan is always on time, super friendly, easy-going and genuinely lovely to spend time with. He also has an incredible amount of knowledge about the area and seems to know everyone everywhere we go! One of the things we love most about his tours is that it never feels like you’re simply being driven from one place to another. He’ll make little surprise stops along the way, point out things you would never notice yourself, and introduce you to people he knows. It makes the whole experience feel personal and relaxed, rather than like a standard organised tour.Dan also arranged lunch for us at the farm shop on site, which was absolutely wonderful. There was so much lovely local produce to look around, and the food was fantastic. He was also really thoughtful about our dietary requirements and made sure we had options that worked for everyone, which we really appreciated.And then there was the owl flying! It had been my mum’s dream to do this, so seeing how happy she was when it actually happened made the experience even more special. We got to meet Kofi, Ghost and Eddie, and each one was absolutely gorgeous. The whole experience at the Birds of Prey Project was fantastic, the team were wonderful, everything was organised so smoothly, and having a private flying experience was absolutely worth it.What I really appreciate about Dan is that he doesn’t just take you somewhere and show you around, he genuinely cares about making sure you have a great day and that you get to experience the best of the places you visit. We had such a wonderful time, and it was lovely to have Dan showing us around again after a few years.We wouldn’t hesitate to book with him again and would recommend him to anyone visiting the area. If I could give more than 5 stars, I absolutely would. Dan is the best!
