Sedona Travel Guides (Updated September 2026)

This tour was SO fun! Off-road enough to be enjoyable to people familiar but not so crazy that people would have a hard time who hadn't been off-roading! Unbelievably gorgeous views literally the entire time, saw some wildlife and our guide Avery was just an absolute rockstar. Super funny, good at reading the room and outlandishly knowledgeable... I swear he had a PhD in biology, geology and vulcanology. We could have listened to him talk all day... Definitely the highlight of our Sedona director retreat! Don't be a chicken... Do the rugged tour!!

Thank you, Jordan for the funnest afternoon exploring the backcountry of western Sedona! My first time on an ATV and I felt like I was in great hands. We got our gear and had a brief training session and we were on our way. Jordan was a great guide making sure we had ample stops for water breaks and photos. He’s also very knowledgeable about the ecology of the area and we learned a lot while having a great time and getting up close and personal with these gorgeous red rock formations. Thanks so much, Jordan!

Very scenic ride with assigned comfortable seating. Ticket included lunch voucher prior to train ride, charcuterie plate with cheese, grapes, crackers, cold meats, and a brownie. Also included was a small bottle of champagne for a pre-departure toast. Recommend the prickly pear lemonade with optional alcohol as a way to keep cool during the train ride.

This is the first time we do a ghost tour during daytime, but it was a great experience. Courtney provided a lot of Jerome history, explaining the town’s ghost reputation. Using the different pieces of “ghost hunting” equipment was fun.

Taking this tour later in the day allowed for a beautiful sunset as well as a rainbow. Alex was flexible and knew the best not so heavily trafficked places.

Well… what a fantastic trip. Ree was our guide and she was amazing. We went into the Honaki pueblos and she explained in a lively, knowledgeable and interesting way, the history , the meaning and the significance of the pueblos and the pictograms etc. we talked about Native American beliefs and the significance of the red rocks and the landscape. Whilst we were looking at one of the pueblos a tarantula crept out of a crevice… that was unexpected and frightening but as Ree said it helps with aversion therapy 😂😂…. The whole tour was great. Thank you Ree.

It was a beautiful scenic ride. The tour guide/bartender was very attentive and so knowledgeable. Also had good choices for lunch and delicious snack foods. A wonderful way to spend the day.

As a group of 60-plus women who hadn't been on a bike in decades, signing up for a self-guided e-bike adventure in the Arizona desert was either a brilliant idea or a terrible one. Turns out, it was one of the highlights of our girls trip!The fun started before we even left the parking lot. The owner was fantastic and patiently walked us through how the e-bikes worked. Then came the practice laps... and that's where the real entertainment began. Watching a group of women rediscover biking after several decades was worth the price of admission alone. There may have been a few wobbles, some nervous laughter, and more than one "I've got this!" followed immediately by evidence to the contrary.After surviving our parking lot "training camp," we hit the trails and were off on our Arizona desert adventure. The e-bikes were easy to use and gave us just enough assistance to let us enjoy the scenery without requiring an ambulance at the finish line.The desert was absolutely beautiful, and there was something incredibly freeing about cruising through the landscape with friends, feeling like kids again, only with better judgment, reading glasses, and a stronger appreciation for comfortable seats.By the end of the ride, our confidence had skyrocketed. We went from cautiously circling a parking lot to feeling like members of a senior biker gang. The owner set us up for success, the bikes were awesome, and the self-guided format let us explore at our own pace while stopping for plenty of photos and laughs.If you're over 60, haven't touched a bike since the Reagan administration, and are wondering if you can do this, the answer is absolutely yes. Just don't be surprised if the practice laps become one of your favorite memories of the trip. We came for the desert adventure and left with great memories of our adventure. 🚴‍♀️😂🌵👯‍♀️🍷

If you're looking for a memorable night under the stars, this tour is absolutely worth it! As part of our girls trip, we thought we were signing up to look at a few stars. Instead, we got an evening that made us feel both incredibly small and completely amazed at the same time.The hosts were fantastic. They were incredibly knowledgeable and had a way of explaining things that kept everyone engaged, even those of us who couldn't tell a constellation from an airport runway. Their passion for astronomy was contagious, and they made the whole experience fun, interesting, and easy to follow.The highlight of the night was getting to see Saturn through the telescope. Seeing those rings with my own eyes was one of those "Wait... that's REAL?" moments. It felt like being back in science class, except this time with friends, laughter, and significantly better life choices than our college years.The sky was absolutely breathtaking, and there was something special about standing out there with friends, looking up at millions of stars while trying to remember which constellation was which. We learned a lot, laughed even more, and left with a whole new appreciation for the night sky.If you're visiting the area, don't miss this tour. Between the knowledgeable hosts, the incredible views of the stars, and the chance to see Saturn up close, it was an unforgettable experience and one of the standout memories from our girls trip. ✨🌙🔭💫👯‍♀️
