Highly recommend - A great Trip

This was a great night. Our guide Russel was superb. He was both informative and entertaining giving an insight into the Jowoyn culture and heritage of these incredible Gorges. The sunset certainly didn’t disappoint and the meal was sumptuous and generous. Star gazing at the close of the evening allowed us to see the Milky Way which was magical. Thank you to all the staff for making this such a special and memorable trip.

Holiday highlight

Staff (Owen) met us at the dock 15 minutes before boarding and warned that the lake was choppy and it may be difficult to get, or stay, close to the Maori carvings. Suggested that if we had the time to make a later booking for the day when he expected the wind to reduce and the sky to clear. Excellent advice. At 2 p.m. we got stunning photos of the mountains under a brilliant blue sky and Sarah (our pilot) got us up very close to the carvings for even more stunning photos of the carvings and then brought us back across the other side to point out other sites of interest. The cruise was our highlight for our Taupo holiday. Owen and Sarah both worked hard to make us not only feel welcome, but to feel included and engaged. They are both extremely knowledgeable and the tour was exciting and interesting and educating! Totally recommend!

Absolutely amazing experience with True South Flights!The plane was honestly perfect for a small group, and having every seat as a window seat meant everyone had incredible views. The scenery flying into and out of Milford Sound was absolutely breathtaking.Our pilot, Dan, was fantastic. He was extremely knowledgeable and made us feel safe and comfortable throughout the entire flight. A special mention to Dan as my partner wasn’t feeling well on the day — he was incredibly attentive and went above and beyond to make sure he was okay. We really appreciated how caring he was.Milford Sound itself was truly spectacular, and the cruise was just as amazing. We were incredibly lucky with the wildlife we saw — New Zealand fur seals, Fiordland crested penguins and even dolphins while flying into Milford Sound! Seeing all of that in one trip was such a highlight.The whole experience was something I’ll never forget. The combination of the incredible scenery, the flight, the cruise and the amazing wildlife made it such a memorable day.I would 100% recommend True South Flights to anyone visiting Queenstown. It’s absolutely worth doing!

Barrier reef day cruise

Really well organised- despite being busy had room to sit out on the boat. I’m not a confident swimmer so was helped in the water by the lovely Sofia- she really put the effort in to show us as much as possible and pointed out everything of interest- she was constantly checking everyone was ok and was extremely pleasant. The lunch was tasty and the information talk extremely interesting and succinct. All the crew were helpful and everyone seemed happy on the day.

Fantastic experience on the Adelaide River outside of Darwin. Crocodiles here there everywhere. Heed the warnings no sticking your fingers/hands outside the boat, be situational aware as crocodiles are very very quiet. There one minute gone the next. My only feedback would be as the tour guide didn't have a microphone it was very hard to hear them from the front of the boat where we were sitting.

A nice day out even with some hiccups in the day

Beautiful boat, nice crew, there was a problem with the steering of the ship and wasn't able to do the second dive. My heart was sad but my brain knows its for the best and wasn't safe to continue. The staff was very sympathetic and offered free drinks and snacks and did a presentation of the reef on the way back... what do u do its out of their control, and still was a nice day and experience.
