Kentucky Travel Guides (Updated September 2026)

Mint Julep was did a great job. The driver, Jim, was super knowledgeable about the history of Louisville and the distilleries. He was punctual, helpful, friendly and accommodating. We really enjoyed our tours and I highly recommend them.

Gabriel was very knowledgeable and friendly. The walk was well paced and interesting

Really enjoyed. Guide on track was excellent. Movie was 360 and well done. No complaints. Highly recommend

Both guides were long time participants in the horse industry and loved what they do. They were so happy to tell us all about all the aspects of why Horse Country is so special here in the Bluegrass.

Andrew is the best! Informative and quirky tour that he took to the next level with his mellow personality and interesting history of the city.

Tour guide was wonderful!learned a lot

Great history of area and great food!

Our guide was so knowledgeable about the horses. We saw 3 of the beautiful horse farms! We thoroughly enjoyed getting to pet the horses, feed them peppermints, and learn all about the thoroughbred racing.

Jeffrey was absolutely amazing!! He was so knowledgeable and has a great sense of humor. We weren’t sure what to expect as people who haven’t been around horses, BUT it was the absolute best experience and we can't wait to bring our children. The rolling hills and beautiful properties were amazing!!

Informative. Great video and museum tour. We got lucky and got to see a race while on tour. Tour guide was great.

We learned a lot about thoroughbred horses and racing. It was a beautiful time and the tour guide Hope was the best. Her knowledge and caring personality won us over immediately. Don't miss this tour.

Amy gave us a good mix of food, drink, and history of the area. We heard some great stories!

Great experience. Mimi kept it lighthearted but informative. Making my own old-fashioned turned out great, and the bourbon and vodka were very good. A nice hour spent doing something different and fun.

Small tour but BIG opportunities to see how trains worked in the past with informative details that I had no idea about. It was an excellent tour and seeing the inside of a train was very cool! I had never been in one. The employees were so sweet and our tour guide Nancy-well she was so friendly and so knowledgeable that we could have talked another hour with her. She made the tour go from good to great!

Harlan was excellent! She had great stories and the places we visited were definitely eerie. I wanted more on the murder house, even though I already watched the documentary.

Good Experience, Woodford was great,
