Fun Christmas Activities in Split (Updated 2026)

Toni was excellent. You can tell he was a history teacher. We learned much about the palace, Croatian history & culture. Highly recommend this tour!

Group of 12 went to sea, brilliant comms from Andela (we used them before on prev trip) this time arriving on cruise so itinerary timing tight. Crew adapted schedule to suit,amazing cool boat great swim spot with paddle board, sorted fab restaurant om Hvar for lunch and drinks on board. WHAT A DAY, thanks guys

Our guide was lots of fun and very knowledgeable. We moved at a quick pace which meant we could cover a lot of ground. The tour was only 8 people which made it much more enjoyable than being part of a large herd. We went back later on our own to wander the streets, after having a good introduction with the tour.

Boris was great did whatever we asked. Gave his history of the places that we stopped and picked a great restaurant for us to have lunch. He picked great stops to swim, even had to pick up a couple of them that floated away. The boat was fantastic, with plenty of room. We could not have asked for a better experience.

The day was very well organized . Guide Laura was professional and personable, and the history she shared was informative. Having specifics on “whats app “ worked well since on the bus, ir was hard to hear er over talkative visitors. Two seniors from California

We visited the Trogir and the Krka Waterfalls with Guide Laura and had an amazing time. Laura was super knowledgeable and friendly, and happy to advise on all the best spots to go to. The Krka Waterfalls were beautiful, albeit very busy but that was out of the control of Cool Destinations. Trogir and Skradin were beautiful and we had time to explore by ourselves before meeting the group again, which was a nice way to explore more of Croatia. We could have spent longer, but the day is quite long already as you see multiple places. We would happily do it again but would definitely want Laura as the guide!

Outstanding event — great and generous wine pours from top Croatian wineries. Knowledgable and friendly teacher for the course. Ask for shop owner bubble wrap if you want to buy a bottle and take it back to the USA. We bought 4 bottles!

I booked this tour after going with Lotus Travel to the Krka Waterfalls, and just like the previous tour, this one was absolutely amazing. Split was incredible. It has such a fascinating story and around 1700 years of history, especially Diocletian’s Palace. Henry took us around the city and showed us some of the little alleys where he actually grew up, which made the experience feel really personal and special. After that, we visited the Kliss fortress, where Henry gave us some free time to explore on our own. We took some of the most amazing photos overlooking the city of Split, and afterwards we had coffee together. Our last stop was Trogir, a cool little coastal city with a beautiful center. He showed us around the narrow alleys and took us to all the main buildings and sights. To finish the day, we had lunch at a traditional local restaurant, where we tried pastizada and other specialties. All in all, it was another wonderful trip, Henry was fantastic, the itinerary was great, and the personal touches made the whole experience truly memorable. I would definitely recommend this tour!
