Welcome to Pittsburgh

In Southwest Pennsylvania where the Allegheny and Monongahela Rivers join to form the Ohio River, Pittsburgh Pennsylvania is known as Steel City. The steel that built America came out of Steel Valley along the Monongahela. Historic sites from the city’s Gilded Age include the Carnegie Museum of Natural History, the Carnegie Museum of Art, and the Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens. Heinz Field is home of the legendary Pittsburgh Steelers football team. Frank Lloyd Wright’s renowned Falling Waters house, the site of the world’s largest steel mill in nearby Homestead, and the view of the city from the top of the Duquesne Incline funicular railway are also must-see attractions.
