On Sept 1 we took a D-Day tour with Cool Destinations. Our guide was Matthew. The full day was so informative and moving. Matthew was not only well versed with the historical events but also included some human interest stories from around the time of the invasion. He was very attentive to our needs and respectful of our time allocation at each of the locations. This was wonderful experience from start to finish and I would highly recommend. Thank you.

It was on our “bucket list “ for a long time. So glad we finally got to do it. Our guide “Ash” was amazing. Knows more about the invasion than anyone I have ever met. Also filled us in about local history along the way to the beaches.

This tour was truly amazing and deeply moving. From the La Cambe German War Cemetery and Omaha Beach to the Normandy American Cemetery and Memorial and the German fortifications at Pointe du Hoc, every stop brought the history of D-Day to life. Standing in these places, you could feel the immense valor, sacrifice, and courage of the Allied forces. It was both humbling and unforgettable to witness the sites where so much was given for freedom. This is a tour that will stay with me forever. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to experience and better understand the history, sacrifice, and significance of Normandy.

Our guide David was fantastic. I can’t imagine seeing the same sights without his guidance and input. He gave us an expert’s context on all elements of the tour. He was a terrific guide.

An excellant half day tour of pointe du hoc, military cemetery and Omaha beach. Very knowledgable tour guide of the area and other interesting facts picked up on the day.

Mataes was our driver and the whole experience was phenomenal. He was a very safe driver, provided plenty of water, allowed us to determine how long we would stay at certain places based on our wishes while maintaining our schedule and making it back to the ship on time. Highly recommend.

Amazing tour with Martin! We had only a day to enjoy Le Havre which we decided to try and rapid see Paris. This was a great way to see some of the beautiful city. Only a very small taste but enough to make us want to return.

Great trip! We had a perfect spot to have our picture taken at the Eiffel Tower. Our tour guide Maarten was wonderful! He provided a lot of interesting info about Paris. Highly recommended!

We had an amazing day with Stephen exploring Mont Saint Michele and the Brittany American Cemetery. Stephen was very knowledgeable about the Mont and also shared insights on D-Day, as well as strategies before and after the invasion. Note that much of the time spent inside the Mont is with a self-directed tablet tour and therefore lacks the personal touch of an interactive guide. Also, one takes the bus from the parking lot to the Mont and back, so if one is interested in walking to the Mont (the time for which is not available for this tour), consider other options. But this was still very much worthwhile and we very much enjoyed our time with Stephen.

What a great service - arranged with Maria pre-arrival and delivered directly to the port within a few hundred metres of our cruise ship. Pierre was perfectly punctual for delivery and collection, giving helpful guidance about potential routes to take (Maria had also sent an electronic link to local routes). It’s a great option for a short visit to Honfleur beyond the walking options in the city centre. We even managed a visit to an organic cider & Calvados farm less than half an hour’s ride away!

Had a great time in Deauville and Honfleur. Both places were very pretty. Lawrence was very knowledgeable and entertaining.

Our driver was great. He was prompt, courteous, and professional. My wife and I have traveled all over the world and taken Tours and had personal drivers. He was one of the best drivers we’ve ever had. I definitely recommend his company and him or someone who wants a private day trip to Paris.

Great service; the operator is very friendly and helpful. We asked for a small suitcase each, and we got them. Furthermore, the man gave us some tips and extra information about the towns we were going to explore by bike.
