Would highly recommend this trip. We booked through Get Your Guide. Excellent service from start to finish. Hotel pick up driver and vehicle were great. Flight attendants were very informative. Flight went on time and was very smooth. We saw Everest and many other mountains in the range. Fantastic morning out!! An amazing experience.

If you love Tibetan foods, a place to be when in Pokhara

My guide, Punam and our driver were delightful and knowledgeable. The tour covered the four key monuments listed in the guide books - Swayambhu, Patan Durbar Square, Boudhanath Stupa, and Pashupatinath Temple. I learned much about the history and significance of Buddhist/Hindu practices plus a nice overview of local cuisine and crafts like Thanka painting. The ride to each site was an adventure! Highly recommended, you’ll truly appreciate the Nepali.

Had wonderful trek up to Poon Hill. I was with my Guide Bk, he is funny and helpful. The weather was rainy but worthy. Greenery, rain, water fall and less crowed make more peace and positive. The views of Himalaya was not clear but still enjoyed lots. Happy to recommended to Guide Bk and Eco Holidays Nepal.

I had an amazing day with Shishir. We started very early to see the Himalayas and then spent hours hiking through the mountains, villages and countryside, all the way to Changu Narayan. He took me to places I would never have discovered on my own and gave me a much better understanding of Nepal along the way.Shishir has an extensive knowledge of the country, the mountains, Nepalese culture and Buddhism, and was always happy to answer my endless questions. He was also very flexible and adapted the day to what I wanted to do, which made the experience feel personal rather than like a standard tour.Above all, he is a genuinely nice, trustworthy and interesting person to spend the day with. I really enjoyed both the hiking and our conversations.If I return to Nepal, I would definitely contact Shishir again. I recommend him without hesitation to anyone visiting Kathmandu who wants to discover the real Nepal beyond the usual tourist circuit.

Had an enjoyable experience - a once in a lifetime excursion to see Mt. Everest and surrounding peaks in the Himalayas. The whole thing was seamless: I was picked up by my driver at my hotel at 5am for a 615am flight (he was there early — both days — I say both because the flight was canceled the first time around due to unfavorable weather conditions), drop-off at the domestic terminal and pick-up following the flight with a return to my hotel by around 8am. Re-booking of my flight for the next day (due the weather-related cancellation) was simple and easy. I’d highly recommend this truly unique experience to anyone visiting Nepal for the first time. It’s must-see!

Shree was a wonderful guide very knowledgeable about the history of the country and the temple's and gods. Had a awesome time would book with him again for a tour.. well worth the cost Felt safe walking though the city and markets

We did the Full-Day Tibetan Cultural Tour with Thupten: it's a highly recommended experience, a must for anyone passing through Pokhara. Thupten gave us so much information and answered our thousand questions with passion and patience, even suggesting how to deepen our knowledge of Tibetan culture through books and culinary ideas we could look for even back in our own hometowns. He took us to the Tibetan settlements and told us the history of his people since the time of the diaspora. We learned how the Tibetan communities live here in Pokhara, and how the settlements are organized. We visited a Tibetan medicine doctor and were able to ask him a lot about the natural remedies he uses. We tasted typical dishes from Tibetan culinary tradition and also saw how carpets are made. What we enjoyed most out of all these experiences was delving into Buddhist philosophy, talking with the monks about their life in the monastery, and witnessing their prayers. Thupten was a passionate and knowledgeable guide, always ready to explain everything and a very good storyteller. He has a deep knowledge of Tibetan culture and Buddhist philosophy: to truly understand this culture, these mountains and this spirituality, spending the day with him was truly essential. Thank you so much!
