Fanatically interesting and entertaining exploration of the musical landscape of Sefton Park, joining the dots between George Formby and Echo and the Bunnymen, Teardrop Explodes and Courtney Love. Tourguide Paul was fun and likeable. A great way to spend an afternoon.

This was a fantastic experience for Beatles fans! Our guide Peter, took us to all of the major sites that I wanted to see on my list: each of the Beatles birthplaces, Strawberry Fields, Penny Lane, and the (new) Cavern Club! We were seated very comfortably in a black cab and our guide played Beatles music related to the sites that we visited. Most importantly our guide had personal stories and relationships with some of the band members and the parts of Liverpool that we were visiting. He had a wealth of information and stories far beyond what I thought would be included.

We were glad indeed to encounter the exuberant, informative & sensitive guide Jimmy & trusty driver Arn. Jimmy kept amazing pace with Arn’s driving & traffic speed. A greatly moving (in all senses!) combination of Liverpool/Scouse history, humour & song - Jimmy really didn’t miss a trick - & added more for good measure! Life & humanity affirming - highly recommended.

We had a wonderful time. Josh was a great guide through Liverpool. We were able to make it to iconic spots that we hadn't previously seen on larger-sized tours. His personal stories as a Liverpool native were a bonus! I highly recommend and would even do again.

My 6 year olds first visit to the club the professionalism of our greet at reception to then meeting our tour guids for the day Tom ans Alan was the start of something special they was engaging knowledgable exstremly funny and was both true ambassoders for the club, engaging with my little striker like he was in the first team captain, afterwards wexwent to the museum and had food in the thevnew KOP Bar burgers world class service exceptional then the museum and shop picked up photos what a day worth every £1 thank you team LFC especially Tom and Alan.

A really lovely afternoon. The wine, snacks and venues were wonderful. Our tour guide (Mikey) was extremely knowlegeable and good company. Would recommend 100%

We had a wonderful day exploring Liverpool with Ian from Mad Day Out. His knowledge, storytelling and genuine passion for Liverpool and The Beatles made the tour truly special. He was charming, attentive and incredibly knowledgeable, and the beautiful electric taxi was the perfect way to discover the city.We know that whenever we hear a Beatles song in the future, we’ll remember the places Ian took us and the stories he shared. A beautiful and lasting memory.We honestly don’t think anyone could have done it better.Impeccable and highly recommended!

Can't think of a better way to sepnd a sunny afternoon in Liverpool! This combined being on a Mersey ferry with seeing the city, and the Wirral, from the water and was very informative. We were given a handout with our tickets which showed where the ferry goes and points of interest. We also had spoken guides via our phones which started automatically. Efficient and easy boarding and disembarkation and plenty of seating. It must be good as we even had gulls hitching a ride on the railings!

Wow we highly recommend a private taxi tour with this privately owned company. Ian was our driver and was awesome...lots of indepth info about each one of the Beatles. Took our pics at each place. Very professional and friendly and answered any questions we had. I could go on and on about how fun he made our tour. I've taken group tours before but this far exceeded them!!!!! If you want a great way to see and learn about the Beatles this is your company , hands down the best. Thanks so much Ian 😁

The benidorm bar was brilliant especially the drag queens especially on the fri night but the bar was only open till 10.30 though

Absolutely fantastic tour. Peter was really enthusiastic and incredibly knowledgeable about everything we were interested in - architecture and history. We learnt a lot more than expected and covered a wide area of the city centre. Will definitely do some of his other tours. Highly recommended.

I'm from Canada and staying in Liverpool a month. I've been widowed for six months now, and fun is hard to come by. But I had HOURS of fun yesterday on my Liverpool Wine Tour. I cannot say enough good things about Mikey. He is friendly, knowledgeable, and gives great hugs to sad women who need them. I smiled and laughed more than I've done in ages, and for short bursts of laughter or clinking of glasses, I could forget my pain.The wines at all four stops were delicious, as was the food the proprietors served with it. We walked around a part of town I'm quite familiar with, but I'd never been in any of the wine bars/restaurants we visited. It was just me and Mikey as several others had to cancel. I did not miss them. I felt totally at ease with Mikey and every server/owner was wonderful and kind to me.Tip: be prepared to walk about 3000-4000 steps, mostly on flat pavements. Good shoes are a must.If you've ever thought that Liverpool wasn't the place for excellent wine bars, think again, and book with this company. They're fantastic.Kim from Canada
