The Catalina Express passenger ferry gives access to this 22-mile-long island, a picture-perfect natural wonderland from the clear waters along the rugged shoreline to the 2,097-foot peak of Mount Orizaba, the island’s highest point. Established as a resort destination in the 1920s, the island’s only town is quaint and artsy Avalon. The rest of the island is a nature preserve, and the surrounding waters are a marine conservation area. it was so fun to see all the fish swarm the boat. at times it got so dark due to the amount of fish around the windows. all of the people aboard from children to adults all were like little "kids" again. I would definitely do this again!

Came to celebrate our Anniversary. This was a perfect day. I would definitely recommend. We rented a golf cart to be sure to maximize our time. We loved it!

Our guide was fun and super informative. We enjoyed all of his stories about the island. The views were great! Although the weather was cold and a little rainy, we still saw a fox and a bison. It's obvious he enjoys sharing the island with visitors, I highly recommend this tour!

Our driver was most informative, knowledgeable, and articulate. We saw bison in their natural habitat, an eagle flying above, and the Wrigley mansion. It was a wonderful tour.

This is a new experience on the island. What to know: it is a small dome (think pop up tent) that seats about 15 adults in chairs and about 5 kids in bean bags up front. It is a 30 minute underwater Imax type experience. Pros: Nice 30 minute break during the day to calm down, cool off, watch a relaxing movie that takes you underwater in many areas around the world. Not really any cons just understand you are not walking into a full Imax experience that you might have had elsewhere. Good for kids up to about age 10.

Jess was so knowledgable, spirited and the perfect host for our tour! The headsets she handed out made it very easy to hear what she was saying no matter where you were wandering throughout the group. She encouraged people to wander around each spot and try and pick up hits from the EMF readers, so the tour felt relaxed and fun. It's the perfect way to end the evening with a leisurely stroll around the town while learning some spooky history about houses and hotels you wouldn't have known otherwise! The glow stick necklaces were an added bonus :)

This woman run company is fantastic! I met with the photographer Celeste and she is so great at her job and with her beautiful energy so pleasant to work with. She took her time with me getting in and out of the mermaid tale and I had so much fun doing the different poses and The experience was incredible! Everyone needs to check this out and be mermaid for the day. Thank you Celeste for my beautiful pictures!
