Pittsburgh Travel Guides (Updated September 2026)

It's 2 hours and you should wear comfortable shoes. No big hills to climb. Just 2 minor inclines. Our tour guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. The mood was light despite the stories typical of a ghost tour which are usually tragic. I came away knowing more of the deep history of Pittsburgh. Definitely recommend it.

We had an enjoyable time on the bus with John & Darrell . it was an informative journey around the city and surrounding areas. The only bad thing was the weather.

Great trip. It hit all of the most important things to see in Pittsburgh, and then some. I booked online, but did not see an option for the veterans discount. I did stop in the tour bus store. It would’ve been nice to be able to snag a few souvenirs (magnets, tshirts, hoodies, unbreakable mugs, miniature PA spoons) . It was very limited.

Alan told excellent stories that combined history with great ghostly events! He warned the group of city sounds to be aware of during the tour, and was very patient with group questions. Recommend!

My wife and I just did a cruise with Captain Bob and enjoyed every minute of it! We weren't there to party, just there to see the sights, and he delivered. He's a very knowledgeable captain, and the tour went up and down all three rivers, with lots of interesting stories along the route. Would highly recommend!

Rob was very knowledgeable about all things Pittsburgh. It was a fun group and we enjoyed all the food. Be sure to come hungry!

Great place especially for young kids. Some exhibits made me dizzy. It was great watching little kids experience like climbing a building.

This activity was alot of fun you cover alot of the city and learn some history. The tour guide truly enjoys his job.

By far, THE best distillery tour. We were giving so much historical information behind the why. I was hanging on to every word! Highly recommend.

Bike the Burgh Neighborhood Gems tour was an awesome experience, revealing some amazing sites in Pittsburgh's neighborhoods on or near the North Side - Mexican War Streets, Randyland, Manchester, Bicycle Heaven, along the rivers, stadiums, bridges and more. Biking is a great way to see these neighborhoods and side streets. Our guide, Dave, was a fountain of historical, cultural, architectural, and Pittsburgh knowledge. He'll go as deep as you want into this or just scratch the surface with some fun and interesting factoids. He was also personable, funny, patient, and flexible with all our questions and stops along the way. The bikes are new, in great condition, and very easy to use. Scheduling our tour was also easy and convenient, as we did have some concerns about weather and logistics. Very highly recommended operator, tour guides, and bikes! Their enthusiasm about Pittsburgh is contagious. We've been on city bike tours in Paris, New Orleans, San Francisco, Savannah, and Chicago and this ranks with the best of them!

Everything perfect just as planned. Definitely worth a tour as the guide explained everything from NA to USA history and we had a lot of fun during the trip to the sites

Gabriel did a great job! It was just my wife and I so everything was centered around just us lol. It worked out great and we got to pick his brain about the tour and the city. My wife and I would definitely recommend this tour!
