The sweets on offer: Biscoff Rocky Road, ultimate teaser, white honeycomb and caramel crispy (I had a piece of caramel crispy) ohhh my goodness it tasted amazing. I wanted to have a piece of all of them, they looked so good. There was a no nonsense very pleasant dark haired lady serving. The coffees were lovely too.

The gentleman that transferred us from the Inn on the Mile was lovely. Very cheerful and informative. A genuinely happy, caring person. It was a pleasure.

On time a reliable ride from hotel in Edinburgh to airport. The ride was clean and comfortable driver was professional.

People should keep an eye open for emails from Cool Destinations close to departure. Important info about which coach to board was missed by those who hadn’t read the email from a couple of days earlier.

Detailed meet up location, I reserved this months in advance and the day came and the bus arrived. Very organized, driver had a list and my name was there! Clean efficient and experienced drivers made a wonderful trip to Braemar for the Highland Fames. Tickets were not included and we had purchased seats in advance. A couple days before we received another email with a reminder and that really helped us with some more details. The only thing that could be better is maybe to have a person at the meeting spot half an hour before busses arrive, to greet the tourists and let them know they are in the corrrecr location. We were a bit nervous until 7:35 when the buses showed up. They seemed to think departure was at 8 am but all of our emails said 7:30 and to be there 15 minutes early- and we were!

Driver was prompt, actually early, vehicle was clean and comfortable, overall very pleasant experience.

Easy trip with a congenial group of travelers. Brian, the driver was both funny and knowledgeable about the area’s history.

Ride was great only problem came with reservation. The confirmation never showed the pick up time it only showed 12:00 am to 11:30pm. I messaged both Cool Destinations and the transfer company and got a confirmation but it never changed on my reservation.

Went to the Highlands of Scotland with Palmer holidays (operated by Red Rose travel ) Lee our driver got a call to do this tour only 4 hours before he picked us up in Wakefield at 7 am after 2 more pick ups in the North East we carried on up to the Highlands of Scotland after a couple of comfort breaks we arrived at the Duke of Gordon hotel in Kingussie about 6pm a long day especially for our driver. Hotel The hotel is probably a bit tired in places our ground floor bedroom (3) was ok some wallpaper loose and chairs a bit threadbare, bathroom looked like it had just been upgraded and had a large walk in shower, breakfast was buffet with quite a good selection evening meal had 3 choices for starter, main and dessert first couple of days the main course portions were massive and people only managing to eat half the meal not a complaint just an observation. Excursion on Caledonian canal and Loch Ness was excellent well organised and lasted about 2 hours it has a nice gift shop where you can buy sandwiches also have plenty of toilets, Lee then dropped us back in Inverness for a couple of hours. Excursion to Strathspey steam railway we set off from Broomhill station and finished in Aviemore, some people were unhappy that the train was pulled by a diesel engine not steam Lee had asked about it and told us because of the risk of trackside fires in the dry weather the police would not let them use the steam engines, we had a couple of hours in Aviemore before returning to the hotel. Our last excursion was to the Culloden battlefields because of mobility problems I did not do the walk on the battlefields but from listening to the rest of the passengers it was quite interesting there is a visitor centre doing food and drink and a museum, Lee had been doing some research while he was waiting for the tour to end and gave everyone the option to go back into Inverness or go to Fort George that he had found while doing his research we took the Fort option and glad we did it's an interesting place and is home to the 3rd Battalion the Royal Regiment of Scotland you get an audio guide that tells you about the area of the Fort you are in unfortunately we only had less than 2 hours there and would have liked longer but we had to get back to Inverness to pick up the rest of the group. During our time in Aviemore one of our group suffered a medical emergency and finished up in hospital in Inverness our driver Lee was absolutely brilliant keeping us up to date and organising things for the mans wife. and unfortunately the man had to stay in hospital so we travelled back with 2 passengers less. Although we enjoyed the trip it was very tiring the first and last days and would have to think twice before doing such a long trip again.

Our driver/guide Brian was amazing sooo funny and very knowledgeable about the history of EVERYTHING ancient history politics the royals you name it. A very good driver on tiny tiny roads worth every penny

Our driver Bryan was fantastic. We all enjoyed hearing all the history of Scotland and the monarch he shared. He was a fun driver and we enjoyed his humor! Great day!

The drive up to Braemar was beautiful! Brian was a great. Driver and supplied us with a lot of knowledge about Scotland and the Highland Games.

Had a great time...journey was smooth and easy. Our driver Brendan made us laugh. I would recommend this trip.

Graham is one of the best tour transportationists (did I just invent a fun, new word?!) we’ve had the pleasure to ride with. He was informative, and funny, but not obnoxious. He is a safe driver, and gracious in dropping off at better locations for everyone at the end too and saved time doing so!
