My wife and I booked an evening of astrophotography with Aiste. She recommended Moke Lake as a location, and it was perfect. Just outside Queenstown, nice and dark, and beautiful. Didn't hurt that the night was fantastic: clear, transparent, and moonless, just how we astrophotographers like it!. We saw a glimpse of the Aurora Australis and got some scenic pics of the Milky Way against that gorgeous backdrop, including several she skillfully took with us standing in the foreground. Thanks so much Aiste for planning a truly exceptional evening for us. Hope we come back to Queenstown some day so we can do it again!

We booked Aiste to take us to some spots that only the locals may know about and would not be full of tours. We wanted to take some photos ourselves and also asked her to take some very relaxed photos of us in the beautiful landscapes as we were sick of having holiday photos without us in them. We had such a nice day and absolutely love our photos. It was relaxed and our photos very candid. The photos will be a great memory of our time in Queenstown and my 50th birthday. We engaged Aiste for a few hours of photo shoot around Queenstown, which included a surprise proposal. It was an intimate, relaxing and fun session. Being our first photoshoot, we were awkward around the cameras, not knowing how to pose properly. Aiste patiently guided us and made us feel very comfortable! Aiste also helped to suggest a location for the proposal, which turned out to be stunning!! At the end of the day, we had a great time and it was an amazing first photoshoot experience for us. The photos turned out to be exceptional as well, and we were extremely satisfied with how it turned out. Aiste did a fantastic job and we would not hesitate to engage her services once again.

Could not rate Aiste more highly. I booked with Aiste an overnight photography trip to Mt Cook, including a stop at Lake Tekapo. Aiste herself was lovely, a real pleasure to be around, and she took us to some great off-the-beaten-track places! I really loved the entire trip and found her knowledge of the area and photography to be really refreshing. She also took some photos of me whilst I was taking photos and printed them off for me! Such a pleasant surprise. I really enjoyed the tour and thought it was good value for money. Will definitely do something similar again with Aiste when I return to New Zealand!

I cannot say enough good things about Aiste. She created a wonderful photo experience that was exactly what I had hoped for.I was traveling to Queenstown with a guided tour but I had a free day to explore on my own. None of the excursions they offered were interesting to me so I was lucky enough to find Aiste’s photo excursion.She was super flexible with the schedule and start time and very communicative throughout. She took me all over Queenstown including Skipper’s Canyon and even offered to take my picture using my phone and camera which was so nice since I rarely get photos of myself when I’m traveling solo. She even bought me a delicious lunch part way through the excursion.The day was exactly what I wanted. Aiste created a magical experience that I will not soon forget.

I am a hobby photographer. Aiste has lots of experience, deep knowledge of the surroundings, and a friendly nature. We went to Glenorchy, and Skippers canyon for some epic photography. She has is an excellent driver in the most difficult terrains. She goes out of her way to ensure you are happy with the service. I would be happy to engage her anytime again.

A great half day tour. Our helicopter tour that was scheduled the day before had to be rescheduled due to weather, Aiste was really flexible with rescheduling timings so we could do both. Despite it being cold and windy Aiste taught me how to do astral photography, providing great tips, ans extra layers. Even though we were not expecting it, ws caught the aurora. Was a great evening tour, would recommend.

One of my best experiences with booked tours and in New Zealand. Queenstown is beautiful but a private photon tour with Aiste would make it more memorable. She is professional, went extra miles to ensure we have a great experience, took beautiful photos for me and my husband. While other tours only cover two locations, she took us to a lot more. Plus she drives carefully in a comfy SUV. Highly recommended!

If you need a photographer on the south island around Queenstown and Wanaka, you can honestly stop looking - just go with Aiste!Whether for a photo shoot or as a tour guide, I can't recommend her highly enough. Not only is she highly professional, well prepared and organised, easy to deal with, and provides great value for money, she's also a wonderful person to be around.I've dealt with project managers on multi-million dollar projects that were less organised and less prepared for their jobs!We first met Aiste when we undertook her guided astro photography tour in June 2021. We did a few photo tours with different guides, but she was so professional, easy to deal with, and committed to making sure we had a great experience (including staying late to teach us some great tips and tricks for post processing our shots with Lightroom) that when we later got married at Edgewater in Wanaka and needed a wedding photographer in the Queenstown / Wanaka / Arrowtown area (Otago region) she was our first choice, and a great choice it was!She happily provided transport for us for our wedding shoot (and the earlier astro photography tour) in her luxury Range Rover. She took us to some of the most gorgeous hidden spots, places we never would have been or found on our own.She has a very keen eye - her framing and composition are spot on, and her standards for herself and her work are very high, and she's a great photographer. It's clear that she really loves what she does, and is a great teacher too! I genuinely feel like we owe her more than she charged us both times we have hired her!Thanks for being awesome Aiste! We booked Aiste to do a family photoshoot in Queenstown, and what an amazing experience it was, this was our first ever family photoshoot with 4 children under 10 so as you can image we were all very nervous and did not know what to expect, and WOW, Aiste went above and beyond, she was so lovely and patient with my children and let them do their own thing, she also took us to some epic locations with breath taking views, we received our photos and I cried they were beautiful and we love them so much, I HIGHLY recommend Aiste as your next photographer you will not be dissapointed. We had an amazing tour with Aiste! She was extremely knowledgeable about the area and took us along a pass that we didn’t even know existed and would definitely not have driven up ourselves!
