We really enjoyed our sunset cruise experience. The staff were friendly and welcoming! They had advised us to bring a coat/jacket, but they also had cosy blankets for guests. (We chose not to put on our jackets, as we were happy with the blankets). The cruise was so enjoyable. The staff provided lots of information about what we could see, and the historical context of Porto/ Gaia. They had a selection of drinks available, and also gave some recommendations for restaurants in the area, when asked. We had a great viewpoint for sunset over the water. We would be very happy to recommend this cruise for people visiting Porto.Please note that traffic can get quite heavy 5-6pm, so allow plenty of time to get there on time!

This tour had only 10 guests and was an ideal way of seeing the Douro local to Porto. The guide was knowledgeable and very attentive (can’t recall the young ladies name). We had a tasting of one white wine and two Ports, red & white accompanied by snacks. The trip lasted two hours and reached the mouth of the Douro. We felt having a small party was more enjoyable.

The best 6 Bridges
A splendid way of combining the 6 bridges cruise ( 7 bridges one day) with the sunset out in the Atlantic. There are loads of tours to choose from, but only one tour has Raul as skipper and guide. He is Porto through and through, and his knowledge of the river is second to none. Everyone on board had a memorable time, helped by liberal helpings of various bottles of port!. You've looked through the rest, now go with the best......Go Raul!!
