Top Pittsburgh Escape Games

Not the best part of town. Nobody bothered us just a lot of activity going on. But it was played with in two separate blocks. A nice little adventure outside. A lot of fun. And so glad for unlimited hints 😅

The Cultural District Scavenger Hunt and Escape Game is very well put together. As a history teacher I really enjoyed learning historical facts about certain places and building in Pittsburgh. The puzzles and riddles were challenging but also solvable. My family and I loved the adventure. I would plan a 90 minute time period rather than 60, if your planning a trip.

So fun!! My family of five, with three teens, loved this activity! We’re from Pittsburgh but had so much fun exploring a different part of the city we didn’t know before. Great activity for a family or a group of friends. Good way to pass a couple of hours!

Overall, great experience – completed the tour with coworkers. Great team building!

This was a fun concept. But I wish the scavenger hunt would have been in a nicer area.

My wife and I picked up our game box at Allegheny City Brewing. Great location and great beer. We had a quick beverage while looking through the box and working on the first clue. The remaining clues were all within easy walking distance and gave us the opportunity to learn about an area of Pittsburgh with which we were not familiar. The clues were challenging enough to be fun without being frustrating and each was accompanied by a short story. Mid game we returned to the brewery and had an excellent sandwich from Redeye BBQ and listened to some live music. All in all, a very enjoyable way to spend an afternoon.

We had a lot of fun solving the mystery. The puzzles were hard enough you have to think but easy enough you don't get frustrated. You will overthink if you're not careful. Highly recommend.

This was a great experience for our family of 5! Age range is 10 years old to 45. Everyone had a great time and all were able to contribute to answering the clues. We love escape rooms and this was a great outdoor experience. All five of us highly recommend!

The game was AWESOME! I have been raving about it to everyone. I played with my husband, parents, and my brother and his gf (all of us Pittsburgh natives) and we loved seeing the city through new eyes. Our favorite part was finding the specific brick/facades of the buildings. We are thinking about ordering another city and taking a day trip!

A group of 6 of us took a girls trip to Pittsburgh to do the Outdoor Escape Room. We had a blast! Using the real world clues was a great way to explore the area. (We had already booked an AirBnB in Deutschtown, so this was absolutely perfect!) We ran into another group starting their escape as we finished ours! We were so pleased to meet another group doing it. We are already planning where our next trip will be to include another Outdoor Escape Room. Thank you so much for putting these together!

Four friends joined in this Escapely Who Dunnit adventure on the Northside of Pittsburgh known as Deutschtown. The starting point takes place on a fun street and the game leads you to clues at a nearby park, painting on walls, signed, etc. Directions are very good even if you are not familiar with the area. The difficulty level was perfect … but if (or when) you needed a hint they were available! The game is quite clever and really makes you use your brain(s). Kudos to the Escapely crew for such a fun afternoon with a lot of laughs. Highly recommended by our group.

My husband set this up as a surprise for my birthday. It was such an awesome experience. Luckily, we had our son and his friend to help crack the case. We all had a blast! I loved how it took us on an adventure around town. I highly recommend checking this out!

We loved it. Everything was right where our Airbnb was. Recommend for couples. It was not as easy as you would think. We only used 3 hints.

It was a great experience, challenging but fair clues. My only complaint is that it was awkward walking around doing a family activity in the middle of an economically depressed area, felt disrespectful to the locals.

Our teenage boys had fun working through the clues that took them around the area near Allegheny Brewery! We hung at the brewery while they explored and solved the puzzles.
