Angelica was our guide. Unfortunately, with all the background noise it was difficult to hear at times, the microphone not doing the best job for the speaker she had. She however, was an entertaining story teller and her enthusiasm did more than make up for the faults of equipment. Be prepared to WALK, wear comfy shoes and dress in layers. An overall good experience.

I cannot speak highly enough of Juniper and the Witches Tour UK. Her historical knowledge was exceptional and she patiently answered all our questions with real depth and passion.What we loved most was the intellectual and historical core of the tour. The real stories of women falsely accused and executed for witchcraft, why they became vulnerable to persecution, and fascinating details of everyday life, such as women brewing ale because drinking water was unsafe.Juniper also spoke passionately about how inadequate the small Witches’ Well memorial feels given the scale of what happened, which really stayed with us.We discovered parts of Edinburgh we would never have noticed, with some fun Harry Potter, Game of Thrones and contemporary references along the way.A lovely walk, but more importantly fascinating, informative and thought provoking. We came away knowing so much more. Highly recommended, especially Juniper!

Juniper was a great guide. Dramatic, funny, personable as she led the group to various sites and told us the history of the dark events that occurred there. She brought the tragedies to life, honoring these victims. I wish all my history teachers had been this good!
