I love a good ghost tour and have done several over the years, fro Dublin to Stockholm & this would have to be one of the best Our guide through the streets of Bath, John, was an amazing story telling who walked the darker side of Barh’s history, a great 2 hours

Our Bath Ghost Tour with Macabre Tours - and led by 'Mr Skinner' - was by far one of the best tours of this nature I've been on. Lots of history, a small amount of theatrics, no over-the-top jump scares (because, really ... why? If the story is told well that is scary enough.) Our guide was dressed for the part, but not overly so - just enough to fit the mood. I wish we'd known about their other tours beforehand, so we could have booked them all. Highly recommended - and, Mr Skinner, kudos to you - you made this tour!!

We went on the ghost tour tonight with Mr Skinner and it was so much fun! Really great guide, so many interesting anecdotes & great vibes - thanks for a great tour!

A great host, fun, knowledgeable and appropriately spooky!

Georgina Strychnine was a great storyteller. Good delivery and pace. We listened, we interacted, we laughed. Had a really good group who all joined in the fun.Walk was for almost 2 hours but stops were long enough not to feel too tired. Only partly uphill and only at the end. I do think guide should walk back to the beginning to help those new to the city.

Mad Alice kept everyone entertained from beginning to end and really brought the darker side of Bath to life.Definitely one of the highlights of our time in Bath. If you’re looking for something fun and a little different to do in the evening, we highly recommend spending it with Mad Alice. Five stars!

The lady guide was excellent - very funny and full of interesting information. Tour was nearly 2 hours but we didn't notice the time until the end. Would definitely recommend.

Wear sensible shoes because there's a lot of walking and you go into grassy areas and down cobbled streets ! Absolutely brilliant, the tour guide was excellent and interacted brilliantly with the participants, my daughter and I really enjoyed it and it's well worth booking !!

Great night with loads of stories, I definitely wouldn’t walk the gravel path alone at night. Definitely recommend

Great guide and fun evening learning about the spooky stories and history of Bath. Would definitely recommend and going in the dark definitely added to the experience and atmosphere!

Fantastic. It lasts 2 hours and you get taken all sorts of places. Hearing very true and wild stories. I took my son who enjoyed it too. There’s a fair bit of standing around and listening. So be prepared with footwear etc.

Was on the 8pm Friday tour, guided by Robert. It was brilliant, well worth the money, it was the perfect amount of informative, entertaining, plus creepy and scary. Would 100% recommend!

Had such a brilliant time on the Bath Ghost Tours! Professor Picric was a fantastic guide, she was entertaining, knowledgeable, whimsical and brought the spooky stories of Bath to life. A great mix of history, humour and ghostly tales. We both learnt a lot and even experienced a little scare! Definitely recommend if you’re looking for something fun and different to do in Bath!

Booked in on at the last minute while staying for a night in Bath and was really glad we did .Although it was £3 dearer than some of the other tours at £18 this was still excellent value . Our Guide John was brilliant, very knowledgeable and enthusiastic, looked the part carrying a lamp which all added to the experience. We’ve done a lot of tours in our time and this is right up there with the best ! Thanks John for a couple of really enjoyable hours .
