Top Athens Kid Friendly

My family and I enjoyed our food tour with Maria very much! She was great with the kids. It was a fun way to walk through Athens, exploring the food, street art and culture. We definitely got a taste of the city!

This experience was worth every penny! Our tour guide Lef was knowledgeable and personable and engaged really well with the kids (ages 9 and 7). It was a great way to see the city and experience the food. Great balance of walking and stops.

Truly a hidden experience but an amazing one. The feel of a private beach, an amazing water front and fabulous food at the beach site. I would pick the shipping over the spa visit but the spa was still relaxing. It just didn't leave time for anything else. Our bus driver was so friendly and it was an amazing smooth and comfortable ride. You need to try the tour.

For the first and last part of this trip, I was with a much larger group on a big tour bus, but I was dropped off at a small town for my tour. I was the only one on the tour from Athens, but met up with three other small groups for the tour. We had had a beautiful boat ride to the beach (even saw a monk seal!). The private beach was beautiful and the beach chair and umbrella kept me cool. The water was clear and perfect for cooling off. There was a small concession stand at the beach with snacks and drinks. At the end of the day, I enjoyed a milkshake in town at a restaurant with seating on the beach and an appetizer at the meeting place. Met up with the rest of the group for the ride back to Athens. Great day!

It was a wonderful experience, Lefteris is great, he knows pretty well how to make you feel comfortable and in family. All the places that we visited were great and the food was delicious. Thank you very much for the experience.

Filippos was excellent and so great with our kids! He took us to parts of the city we hadn’t seen yet and gave great history. We loved the food and it was very kid friendly. He even gave us recommendations for the rest of our stay in Athens. Great tour!

Absolutely fantastic experience — highly recommended.Our guide George Keramidas was exceptional from start to finish. The weather conditions on the day were quite uncertain, with the possibility of heavy rain and worsening sea conditions, but he was constantly updated and clearly very experienced in assessing the situation. Thanks to his professionalism, we were able to enjoy an amazing day on Ligadonisia in complete safety. He perfectly managed the timing and made sure we returned before the weather turned bad.What impressed us even more was the incredible timing: literally as soon as we arrived back on land, the weather suddenly worsened significantly. It was clear he had made exactly the right call at the right moment.During the trip, he also took us to see monk seals, which was an unforgettable and special experience that made the excursion even more unique.Beyond being a great guide, he was also a genuinely kind and caring person. Since it was raining heavily when we returned, he kindly drove us with his own car to the bus stop so we could get back comfortably instead of leaving us in the rain.Professional, knowledgeable, safety-conscious, and truly human — one of those guides who genuinely makes the experience memorable. We would absolutely do this tour again.

We had a fantastic experience on the Food on Foot Athens food tour with Penny. From start to finish, she made us feel welcome and showed us parts of Athens that we would never have discovered on our own. Her local knowledge was incredible, and she brought the city to life with stories, history, and insights along the way.One of the highlights was trying so many delicious foods that we simply would not have known to order ourselves. Every stop felt authentic and carefully chosen, giving us a real taste of Athens beyond the usual tourist spots.We were travelling as a family with children, and it was wonderful to find a tour that was genuinely child-friendly. Penny was incredibly patient, engaging, and accommodating with the children throughout, making sure they felt included and interested at every stop.We are pescatarians, and Penny was excellent at checking that we were comfortable with the itinerary, including visiting the meat market. Amazing tour, and the most wonderful guide! Maria was knowledgeable, kind, and very patient with our two kids! We also had a gluten free person with us, and Maria went out of her way to be accommodating. We learned so much about Athens and ate so much delicious food — seriously, come with an appetite!

We took our family of four on this 3.5 hour morning food tour and tried pie, cheese, ice cream, and traditional Greek cuisine across several neighborhoods. It was supposed to be a group tour but we got a private, intimate experience without any other tourists. Though we can certainly tried any of the local shops on our own, our guide Lef was engaging and knowledgeable, keeping great pacing so we could enjoy each dish. It was well worth the price. My kids stayed engaged throughout. Perfect way to experience authentic Greek food and culture as a family. Highly recommend!

The tour ia excellent. Everything was very well planned. The bus and boat are comfortable. Good food. Excellent attention from George our guide to the Islands. Great choice for relax day, with the beach day and later the Spa at very nice hotel.

An absolutely amazing experience! Lichadonisia truly feels like a hidden paradise, with crystal-clear waters and stunning natural beauty all around. The scenery is breathtaking and the swim spots are simply unforgettable.The stop at Galini Resort was the perfect addition—relaxing in the spa after a day at the beach made the whole experience even more special.Everything was well organized and smooth from start to finish. Highly recommended for anyone looking for the best day trip from Athens!

Moriah was an excellent guide! Our family and another family walked together and enjoyed her knowledge of both the sites, art, and the food. The kids engaged and got to try a little bit of everything.
