Washington DC Travel Guides (Updated September 2026)

This particular tour allowed us to stop and photo all the planned sites. The night view of the monuments was more impacting upon me than expected. I was glad we rode to the monuments, it would have been too much walking in the wind and traffic especially at night. The guide was very knowledgeable and personable.

Fast paced, but worth the money. You get a good overview of major sites, can go back on your own if you want to spend more time at a certain site.

This is an excellent way to see the highlights of DC! The driver's are fun, nice and informative. As a former Northern Virginian I would recommend this tour as an efficient way to visit our nation's capital.

Quick over view of DC. Unfortunately when we were there the Mall was blocked by a grandstand used for the RAF and there were detours due to the security measures in place. I would choose this again when it was all accessible.

We’re so pleased we did it and got to see all the major monuments with very few people around us. The trip is great as some sites you need to just see but would be a long walk and busy at other times. We’ve come away with some great photos!! Thanks again!

Great way to see a good number of the major DC monuments. Our guide, Fernando, was an enthusiastic story teller, enjoyed that a lot.Especially since the tour is after sunset, all the monuments are lighted up, and looks very pretty. Also, it’s a lot less busy than during daytime we noticed, so it’s easier to look at the monuments and take pictures.

This is a hidden gem tour. So many interesting tidbits. Local folklore about people in history that you just don’t get on a regular tour. If you’re looking for short activity, not too much walking, enough stops to keep you entertained, and walk away with something you didn’t know before, this is a great option.

I had a wonderful experience which I will never forget. It was great.

We had a party of 7 (4 adults, 1 teen and 2 kids). The open air feel was perfect, great night. I have done many bus tours but the open top was worth it. Our driver and Elvis were great. We enjoyed seeing all the sites. Some walking required. Highly recommend!

It’s a great tour if you want to see most of the major monuments in DC in one day. A convenient and enjoyable way to experience the city’s highlights!
