I had an amazing time with Claudia and learned so much. We used beautiful very local ingredients and she tailored the menu for me as a vegetarian. Claudia is so generous in the way she shares information and providing tastings of different ingredients - it was a great day. I highly recommend this as a very authentic way to experience a Italian food and hospitality in Claudia's home

Claudia was an excellent guide showing us some sites in the historic part of the city. Then off to her house with husband Francesco and a fantastic time making and cooking pasta and appetizers. A wonderful time. I highly recommend this cooking class.

This was a great and cost effective way to learn the highlights in Perugia. Internet connection can be tricky so it was helpful to be able to read about the sites and then visit them. You have all day to access the website and tour which turned out to be a plus! I ended up stopping to enter several of the sites for a few hours including the Capital museum, Perugia Underground and the National Gallery and then read more about them later. I returned the next day to get a closer view of the last of the sites mentioned on this list after reading about them. Very helpful for a first time visitor to Perugia!

This was absolutely fantastic - we learned so much about traditional olive oil production in Umbria, from a fourth generation olive oil producer on his family’s farm. There is probably nothing that Enrico at Frantoio del Sero doesn’t know about how to grow olives, how to process and press them, and how to use his beautiful green liquid to its best. We were expertly guided through how olive trees grow and are harvested, gazing at some of his trees outside the mill. We then went inside and talked about how the olives are processed and the various by products that come from the pressing process. We then had a tour of the mill, each step of the labour intensive process explained… and then came the opportunity to taste his wonderful oil! We met his sister, also in the family business. We particularly appreciated his patient answering of questions, whilst discussing the many difficulties of carrying on this important and historic tradition, whilst balancing climate change, modernisation of production and the usual struggles any farmer faces when growing food. He was so friendly and knowledgable - I cannot recommend this enough to anyone who might be interested in traditional Italian methods! An absolute gem of a tour.

Fun way to tour the Villa especially on a hot day. Pickup and drop-off at the hotel made it so easy.

Rebecca is incredibly sweet, friendly, and made the entire experience unforgettable. Exploring Assisi while having professional photos taken was such a unique and fun experience. She tailored the tour to what I wanted, was patient, and happily stopped anywhere I requested for photos. She made me feel comfortable the entire time and was so easy to talk to.She also shared amazing recommendations for places to eat and delicious local sweets to try, which made the rest of my visit even better. As a thoughtful surprise, she even gave me a small gift at the end of the tour of some Italian sweets.This was one of my favorite experiences during my trip to Italy, and I couldn’t recommend her more!

This was an excellent, informative, and relaxing experience. The hostess was knowledgeable about the wines that the vineyard produced, explaining each wine tastings, with accompanying cheeses. The tour itself was very personal; there were four of us, and we had the guide all to ourselves. We met the owner, his wife and two delightful children. Literally, it was a family outing!

We had a great time with four friends learning the art of making Fettuccine from scratch. We learned which ingredients matter and the technique for building the dough (which was very different from how I do it at home). Very good instructions and lots of patience to try. We all had a wonderful time and took home our food to cook in a few days after it cured. Wonderful finish across the street with some tastings.

We were looking for a winery to tour on our drive between Siena and Rome and learned about the Madonna del Latte winery. The afternoon we spent there was one of our favorite experiences on this trip to Italy. Anna was a wonderful guide and hostess, and we loved meeting Leon and his family too. The wines and cheeses were delicious, and I left feeling relaxed and content. There was zero pressure to purchase anything, but I happily joined their wine club and look forward to receiving my shipment in the fall.

My wife and I had an outstanding experience with Roberto, the owner, last week. Roberto put so much care into the preparation and execution of our tour. He sent us messages beforehand to ensure we knew where we were going and was very gracious in being flexible when we arrived an hour early for our tour. We learned so much about the trees, olive making process, and different regions and types of olives. To top it off, a happy surprise was that our tour was just for the two of us. The whole experience made us feel like VIPs. Also, the views alone from his farm were breathtaking. I highly recommend booking this experience!One planning note: the farm is up a rural mountain drive that is sometimes tight for American drivers, especially the last corner right before the farm, though we navigated it fine.

You’ll have an unforgettable experience at Claudia’s home— something truly unique that you won’t find anywhere else. From our perspective, it ended up being one of the absolute highlights of our trip to Umbria, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend booking it. Best of luck with the big window!

Eleanora knows how to make pasta fun and easy to follow. Honestly, we made fettuccine and ravioli while chatting and enjoying some wine and local cheese. Definitely feel like I can try this at home without stress!
