Lyon 2026 Calendar of Events

Our guide was Zoey. She made the experience both very safe as well as interesting! She has great stories which bring the history of the beautiful city Lyon alive. The quality of the e-bikes is the best we have ever had on a tour. They are very easy to adapt to and ride well making the bike trip fun as well as relaxing. I highly recommend this tour and suggest you request Zoey as your guide!

This was a wonderful tour! Anna did such a nice job curating a delicious selection of pastries and narrating the culinary history of Lyon. Even though we were late for the tour due to a snafu at the airport, she made accommodations and caught us up so we didn't miss the fun, and we appreciated her flexibility. This tour is a great way to see the city, enjoy some culinary treasures, and learn about some of the gastronomic highlights from a passionate guide. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful time with Anna on this pastry tour after having taken previous visitors to Lyon on her Old Town tour. She’s knowledgeable and has lots of great stories, and the places she included always have the most delicious food. Would definitely recommend if you love sweet things and want to learn about Lyon’s food history as well.

We had a fantastic food tour with Anna in Lyon! The quenelle and praline brioche were particular highlights, and Anna’s enthusiasm for food and the city of Lyon really made the experience.Anna has amazing knowledgeable, and we actually used a lot of what we learned from her throughout the rest of our stay in Lyon. Highly recommend!

Absolutely — here’s a polished, natural version for a tour review: Writing We had a wonderful 2-hour walking tour of Lyon with Natalie. She was very informative, friendly, and accommodating. She shared so much interesting history and information about the city, and we really enjoyed exploring Lyon with her. We even made an unexpected stop at a local silk shop, which was such a fun addition to the tour. Natalie made the experience personal and enjoyable, and I would definitely recommend her!

Google search offered out of date schedule causing us to not take up tour on Day 1. Interesting as a comparison to other "hop on/off buses" the tour is only the 1 day of booking and not as seems fairly universal - 24 hours. Operator was very helpful and allowed us to use our ticket for a full day the following morning. Friendly staff. New way of navigating via mobile app and play out loud or use own ear buds/headphones. No headphones available on tour. Well worth doing the loop and then repeating with stop. Beware no 1300 start (break for operator) last round trip 1800 - around 90 minutes complete

I really enjoyed this walking trip!I wanted to practice French and my guide (I’m so sorry I can’t remember her name ☹️) could not have been kinder or more patient. She spoke slowly and clearly and put up with my limited French.I learnt so much about Lyon, which is beautiful and has a fascinating history.I’d thoroughly recommend this tour

Super visit with Alix in Lyon!

The Lyon City card was a bliss, giving us free entrances to the museums (there are many interesting ones), and it was super practical for transport. We just hopped from the bus to the subway and the tram and funicular by tapping the card and it saved us huge amounts. Very useful card and one of the best that we have had compared to other cities!

Great way to see and learn about Lyon’s history. The app was easy to download and use, just be sure to bring your own headphones/earbuds. If I were here longer I would consider a two day pass. We did get stuck in late afternoon traffic, but that can happen in any big city.

It was cheap enough that I just downloaded it, I happy I did. I rode the hop on bus then walked around town using this to see more sights. I only used it one day but probably saw 30 or more of the sights on the map. I spent about 5 hours walking and chasing down some of the sights. It was a great way to see the highlights when I had an afternoon to kill.
