What To Expect
Take a 90 minute Private Paddle Boarding Adventure to Peanut Island with a South Florida Native and master naturalist. We will depart from our meeting location on paddle boards and paddle over to Peanut Island. Along the way we will be on the lookout for spotted eagle rays, manatees, sea turtles and beautiful colored sea stars. Once we reach Peanut Island we will paddle through a natural mangrove trail, to a man-made snorkeling lagoon or to the east side of the island.
On our paddle over to peanut Island we will have to paddle across a boat channel, and may have to paddle against current or wind. Windy days can make this adventure more challenging. Have no fear your experienced guide we be there to help if needed.
In the winter months we will be on the lookout for manatees who travel to this area in search of the warmer water. The water at Peanut Island during high tide is some of the prettiest crystal clear, aquamarine water around South Florida.
Age requirement to paddle on own board is 13. Some paddling (paddle board, kayak or canoe) experience is suggested.
If you’re a newbie to paddling we would recommend our Jupiter Location for an easier paddle boarding experience.
