What To Expect
Starting at Rua Cândido dos Reis, you'll open the Explorial app, enter the 6-digit game code that you received by text and Viator chat message, and step into Évora's whitewashed maze. The tour is fully self-guided — no guide, no fixed start time, just your group and the city.
The Sé Catedral de Évora anchors the route — Portugal's largest medieval cathedral, part fortress, part church. Riddles climb from cloister legends to rooftop views.
On Praça do Giraldo, trivia flows with the fountain: this arcaded square has hosted markets, executions and everything in between.
Jardim Diana offers the closing act, a garden terrace beside the Roman temple's columns, with the Alentejo plains stretching beyond.
Around two hours covers the old town comfortably. When the final points post, celebrate with a pastel and a bica nearby.
