Pasta, Truffle & Wine in a Medieval Village Near Parma

A real family home. A medieval village in the Parma hills. Fresh pasta made by hand, a panoramic terrace, and an Italian lunch or dinner with local wine.
This is a morning or afternoon well spent — with me, Virginia, Mamma Nadia, and possibly two very curious cats.

What To Expect
Calestano is not on most maps. That's exactly the point.
Tucked in the Parma hills, this is where my mother Nadia and I, Virginia, open our home — and our kitchen — to a small group of guests (max 8) for a hands-on pasta experience that feels nothing like a class.
Oh, and our cats Cesare & Cindy will probably be there to welcome you too.
Together we'll make two traditional pastas from scratch : soft ricotta ravioli and silky tagliatelle, using seasonal organic ingredients — many picked straight from our garden.
Love truffles? Local black truffle, harvested right here in these hills, is available as an optional add-on.
After cooking, you'll sit down on our panoramic terrace for a proper Italian meal : local antipasti, Parmigiano Reggiano, your freshly made pasta with homemade sauce, my family tiramisù, and plenty of local wine.
No car needed — I can arrange a private transfer from central Parma on request. Just let me know when you book.
Like hungry. Leave feeling like family.
