Overview
A private expedition is the best way to enjoy this magical whale encounters. Private land trasportation and a private boat, makes the best out of this experience.
Usually, collective tours have an average of 15 people per boat, that usually has to wait some time to departure. Movement on the boat is minimal, since its at full capacity and tour last 2 hours full time without a proper guide.
On our private expedition, time is your own and we do 3 hours of whale watching, that is what we recommend to have the best experience and grater chance for amazing encounters. You can move freely on the boat, to have the best look of the whales in whatever direction they are and our marine biologist guide, will enhance the experience with a lot of information regarding the whales and the area.

Meeting and Pickup
We will pick you up at your hotel, airbnb, or wherever you are staying dowtown La Paz
What To Expect
After pick up, we will drive 2 hours north of La Paz to Puerto Chale, the southest whale sanctuary of Baja California sur, and since the last several years, the place with the highest number of grey whales.
After a short bathroom break, we will board the boat and start our 3 hour expedition, looking for whales, dolphins, sea birds and beautiful landscapes.
We will return to Puerto Chale, with chance to have lunch in town and then, come back to La Paz

As an active member of the Dolphin SMART program, we do not have physical contact with the dolphins on Grey Whales at Puerto Chale Private Expedition. We watch them in their natural habitat from the boat.
Dec 2022If you have any doubts about becoming seasick on the water, we recommend taking a Dramamine® Motion Sickness Relief tablet the night before your trip. Some people recommend taking it the night before your cruise and then again that morning so you will not feel so drowsy.
Feb 2023- For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the tour start time.
- If you cancel less than 24 hours before the tour start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
