La Paz Travel Guides (Updated September 2026)

It was an amazing beautiful experience! Sam, Javier and El Capitan were amazing, had so much knowledge, funny and made the whole experience amazing! I will go again next time I am in La Paz!

I really enjoyed the day between Isla Espiritu Santo and Balandra beach. Dari and Captain Francisco made sure everyone had a good time. Dari explained local wildlife in Spanish (and translated for me to English where needed), they brought us to beautiful beaches and served delicious Ceviche for lunch.

Javi, Juan de Dios (Captain), and the other guy whose name I don't remember… They were a pleasure. 10/10 the 3 of them were very cool and professional at the same time.

This excursion was very fun and beautiful. Romina, our snorkeling guide, was very attentive and demonstrated great knowledge. Regina cooked wonderfully; her ceviches were delicious and very fresh. Our captain, Noé, took us safely throughout the day and brought us back safe and sound. I highly recommend Baja Off Shore.

This is a great tour! I highly recommend. Because my partner and I were not well prepared I recommend bringing the following: hat, sunglasses, snacks, water, water shoes, electrolytes, sunscreen. We hung out at a beach for a bit and the guides provided umbrellas and lunch. Definitely bring a towel.

The pilot and guide were delightful. During snorkeling, Dari, the guide, was helping all of us. Also, they provided food and drink to meet our preference, and even brought fishing pols on the boat that I requested, because my grandson wanted to try fishing.

A wonderful tour, an incredible experience whether with family, friends, or alone.

The ocean safari in La ventana was one of the most amazing experiences I’ve ever done. Orcas, pilot whales and manta rays - there was so much ocean life all around. Mother with baby orca swam right under me - I’ll never forget this! A pod of 20+ pilot whales. At one point 5 manta rays circling around me. Booking with Paul was smooth and my guide (Maybeth? I’m sorry I forgot her name) was super kind.

It was a great outdoor experience. Our Tour Guide treated us great even after one of us ran into a cactus. He was very quick to render aid and was able to remove the cactus leaves quickly.

We loved this experience! The gentleman who helped us get our kayaks was SO helpful and kind and went out of his way to make this memorable for us. My husband took our big kids out on the kayak one by one while I stayed on the beach with our toddlers. We had come with no shade and the owner of these kayaks (I forget his name) lent us his easy up for free to keep shade on the little ones. They helped carry everything down for us and set it up. The kayaks themselves were awesome and my kids loved it. Would highly recommend!

Great guide, great ride. I was unsure about booking this, very happy I did. My girlfriend never atv'd before, and it was a bit much for her. They let her ride on the back of mine. Offered us a side by side instead, but I wanted to actually drive the atv. Very accomodating, very helpful, very chill. I liked them very much, they were stand up folks.

This is a great way to see and spend time at Balandra and Tecolate Beaches. Angel was friendly and informative. They provided and set up chairs and a cooler of water and sodas. Lunch at Tecolate was great too. Highly recommend!

My family, ages 80 to 20s, had a AMAZING experience that we will remember forever. We did the Sea of Cortez Wonder Tour. Very ethical swimming with Whale Shark, snorkeling with Sea Lions, and delicious beach lunch. We learned a lot! La Paz VIP Tours strikes the perfect balance of protecting the resource while providing great encounters. They also take video and photos that they provide to you - for free!
