The trip with Pablo met all of our expectations. We appreciate that Pablo suggested we change the time for a better experience. The water was calm and our paddle was smooth and enjoyable. Pablo had a guide with pictures of marine life that we might find as we snorkeled. He is very knowledgeable and attentive during the trip. I recommend going on this peaceful paddle and snorkel.

We had a beautiful evening paddle board and snorkel with Pablo on our trip. He was so nice and easy going, and super knowledgeable about the whole region. We had nice snacks on the beach and watched the sun go down over the water. Hanging out with Pablo was one of the best experiences of our short trip to La Paz, and we will ABSOLUTELY be doing another trip with Senda Experiences on our next trip down. I cannot recommend this company highly enough!

great day out with eco migrations! very knowledgeable and swimming with the sea lions was a highlight! lunch was delicious too. would def book again for same tour or try another one of their activities.

Amazing day w friends and guides. Balandra beach is such a special place and beautiful. The sea lions were incredible to be close enough to hear but not too close that disturbed them. Also, the snorkeling was fantastic. AND, lunch was soooo tasty!

We were on a road trip in the Baja and had booked a 3 hour whale shark tour with Cool Destinations VIP tours before we left. Katya, Tour Manager, contacted us to let us know there were not enough people for the tour on our chosen day, offering another day or an option to upgrade to this longer tour. Communication and rescheduling was easy and we are SO GLAD we made the decision to change because it was totally worth it!!Reservation Manager, Ana Marcela, kept in contact to assure us the changes had gone through and we were booked and knew where to meet. There were only 4 others on our boat, with the able Fernando at the wheel and our personable, knowledgeable guide, Angel, in charge of the day's activities. I highly recommend a small group tour because it determines the time you will be swimming with the whale sharks.Fernando and Angel were clearly skilled at spotting the whale sharks, and Angel kept the whole process moving to maximize our time allotted in the national park, as well as in the water. We had three separate swims with the whale sharks, all mind blowing. Then a swim near the sea lions, followed by excellent snorkeling around a small island. Once we put down anchor at the beach, other guides joined in to help, and tables, chairs, umbrellas and a gourmet lunch miraculously appeared!As we pulled into harbor I was reflecting on my 2+ weeks in Mexico, thinking the only thing we had not seen on various boat trips was dolphins (this IS nature; there are no guarantees!). Suddenly, there were dolphins playing around us. It was Friday afternoon, the dock was within sight, and Fernando was probably ready for the day to be over. Instead, he immediately cut the engine and turned to slowly follow and let us enjoy the dolphins. A bonus end to a stellar day!!!

Took my wife and 3 boys out (ages 13, 10 & 3 - yes you read that right LOL) and we had the best day ever!! We went for Spring Break last week of March and out Captain and tour guide were so great, knowledgeable and helpful. We swam with whale sharks, saw mantarays, dolphins, bottle nose dolpins, humbpack whales, swam with sealions and viewed 100+ species of fish plus a moray eel. We had a civiche lunch on the beach and we honestly couldn't have asked for more. They set up a great picnic lunch at Balandra and we just loved it. A day like this is priceless for me and I can't speak highly enough. Our guide, Cammie, was so sweet and good with the kids - super knowledgeable about sea life and the ocean. A+ in my book1

Totally worth the private tour. The tour guide was a marine biologist so gave us all the tidbits about the wildlife and sea lions. We were able to get real close to the sea lions and I was able to get face-to-hand with one of them!the ceviche and pasta for the lunch provided was excellent! did not disappoint. Fruit and ham sandwich ingredients were also included with drinks and chips.The guide had seen other ships scouting a whale in the bay and we took off after it and were able to spot a small humpback whale fluke 3 times during the chase.We were taken to snorkel in a reef near the island. they provide wet suits and life vests although you'll come to realize you don't need either as the sea is so salty the density keeps you afloat.overall a great experience.

I had the most amazing time with my family. Some people in our group where first time snorkelers, and the guide was so helpful and patient. Both the guide and captain where very knowledgable and gave us important information about the wildlife we encountered and the Island's history. Swimming with the sea lions was incredible! We received photos and videos of our experience after the tour at no extra cost. We also enjoyed the lunch at the beach and paddle boarding. The bay where we stoped in was shallow and perfect for swimming and paddle boarding. We had an amazing time and will recommend this tour to family and friends going to La Paz

We did this snorkel + paddle-boarding tour as a couple and it ended up being one of our favorite memories from the trip. The whole area around La Paz is unbelievably peaceful — calm water, wide bays, and these dramatic cliffs that look like they were carved for postcards. The pace was relaxed, and our guide made everything feel easy and safe, even for people who aren’t paddle-boarding experts. We got to snorkel in super clear water with tons of fish, then paddle along the coast while the light changed over the rocks. It felt both adventurous and grounding at the same time. Such a simple, beautiful way to spend a morning together, and we’d definitely do it again.

This trip was amazing! We enjoyed all aspects from the snorkeling with the sea lions to the paddleboarding around Ballandra Beach, beach time and boating. The guides, Erin and Jose, were informative and provided knowledgeable explanations of the wonders of La Paz’s natural areas including aquatic animals, birds and the surrounding mangroves. It was the perfect way to spend a hot day in La Paz!

We visited La Paz on a cruise and booked this tour for the day we were there. We did have to get from the port in Pichilingue to the meeting point in La Paz (about a 30 minute drive, but our ship offered a free shuttle to town), but since the tour was private, they were able to tailor it to the amount of time that we had and they were able to drop us off right next to the cruise ship.The actual tour was fantastic! We had a quick stop at Balandra Bay, which is gorgeous, before continuing to the area with the sea lions. It's about an hour and a half boat ride, but was absolutely worth it once we got there. It was amazing to swim with the sea lions and the snorkeling was some of the best we've done. We were also able to see crabs, rays, and sea turtles along the way.After snorkeling, we went to a beach that looked like it was from a postcard, and we had it almost completely to ourselves. We ate delicious ceviche and had a chance to swim and try out the paddleboards.We would've loved to have more time to explore this beautiful area, but it was time to head back to our cruise ship, and they were very careful to make sure we arrived back in plenty of time. All in all, a fantastic day, and guide Reidar was awesome!
