This experience was absolutely amazing from start to finish! I had so much fun and truly loved every part of it, from exploring the local market to the cooking class.The market tour was fantastic, with delicious tastings along the way, a lovely walk around the area, and interesting stories about Mexican history and culture.The cooking class was definitely one of the highlights. The food was absolutely delicious, and I especially loved being welcomed into Romina’s home. Romina and her family were incredibly warm and welcoming and made us feel like part of the family from the very beginning.If you want to experience not only the food but also the warmth, hospitality, and authenticity of Mexican culture, I couldn’t recommend this experience enough.10/10 — an experience I will definitely remember and highly recommend to anyone! 🇲🇽❤️

Unforgettable experience
A fantastic experience. We often do cooking activities during our travels. But it was the 1st time with a real chef who is used to teaching cooking. Denise really cares about passing on her knowledge and that is felt throughout the activity. We had a wonderful time discussing cooking, but also Mexico and life there. And leaving with the PDF of the recipes is a very appreciated plus!

Wonderful Week in Yucatan with Historic Sites, Diving, Flamigos, and Great Guide (Hernan)
We stayed at a private home in Merida for the first week of June and had a fantastic guide from ToursByLocals - Hernan E. -- who spent 5 days with us and also picked us up from the airport and dropped us off a week later. We visited 9 Mayan sites -- including Chichen Itza, Uxmal, Ek Balam, Kabah, Sayil, and Labna (on the Ruta Puuc) and Coba - and to Celestun for the flamingos and a beach-side lunch and to the Pink Lagoon for swimming in salty pink water. He was one of the best guides I ever have with ToursByLocals (or any other tour company) and I recommend him without reservation to anyone seeking to explore the Yucatan! Sophia was fantastic
Sophia was great! She welcomed us into her home and gave us a great overview of her family's history. She then took us to the market and to the Tortilleria to watch them make tortillas using a machine. We then went to her house and cooked all of the recipes listed in the description and then some. She was fantastic and it was great to spend the day with her. She provided us all with the recipes and images of the food we made so we can make them again at home.

Amazing food and experience
Words cannot describe how amazing the cooking and market experience was with Sofia. She showed us how she chose every ingredient and why it mattered to the recipe. We spent all day in her lovely home cooking with her and talking. She shared local history and it's impact on the cuisine of the region. We snacked on local fruit and amazing hibiscus tea through the day while we worked and learned. The meal in her charming and welcoming patio was well worth the work it took to put it together. Next time we visit we will absolutely be book another lesson with her. Thank you Sofia!

HAVE TO DO!!! Samira was amazing!! So knowledgeable on anything and everything coffee. I came out of this experience feeling very educated on coffee and how to make the perfect cup. As well as what coffee I’m more interested in. We tried all four methods and it was fantastic. The chocolate pairing definitely made the experience. We also really enjoyed how she sold local Mayan honey and local pottery as well. 10/10 would recommend this experience to those coffee lovers or those that just like to learn :)

This was a fun and educational class! It takes place in his home and was very welcoming and clean. All of the food supplies were ready for the class and he did an excellent job of explaining how to cook the food and shared all of the recipes so I can recreate them at home. The food was amazing!
