Exceptional Experience
This was one of the BEST experiences we have had during any travel (and we travel a lot!) first of all, the site is BEAUTIFUL! We were quickly welcomed and made feel right at home. We had the best time from beginning to end. This activity made visiting Ios well worth it!!! The cooking experience was so intimate and every step of the way we felt like part of a Greek family. We made Filo pie, falafel and tzatziki sauce. EVERYTHING TURNED OUT SO GOOD!!! It was my first time trying falafel ever and it was delicious! The kindness and encouragement showed to us every step of the way was felt. We then toured the museum of how the homes were set up and were blessed with so much knowledge regarding how life was in the old days. We then were served a variety of cheese, jams/honey, and grapes and a FANTASTIC homemade wine. Everything was just exceptional and we purchased several items to take with us. They even packed up for us the extra food we made before we left! This is a MUST DO if you are visiting Ios. You will not be sorry!! We feel we have a family to come back to now!! Highly recommend!!

Amazing way to see the island!

Delicious cheese tasting experience
Although this review says GUIDED TOUR, we did not do that. We showed up with no reservation or booking and had a lovely cheese tasting, along with local jams, honey, wine, and salad. All delicious and worth trying.Before the tasting, we had a chance to look and go into a traditional stone house (that looked like my Pappou’s house) and a cheesery.The staff were very friendly and welcoming.

A very beautiful place.
We showed up without prior registration, which was not a problem in mid-September. First, we were guided around the grounds, learned how the ancestors of the hostess's husband laboriously performed their work, and then looked at the small dwelling and former
cheese dairy. The highlight was then the cheese tasting. After the explanations of which cheese is best eaten with which honey, mustard, or fruit, we enjoyed it. I naturally took some spices, honey, and cheese with me as a souvenir. It was a lovely few hours in a pleasant atmosphere!

An unexpectedly wonderful journey
This was a nice experience. Not only did my guide motivate me to bicycle all the way to Homer's tomb, but gave me a lot of information about the island's (Ios) history, ancient and recent. The trip included a visit to an orchard owned by my guide and his wife, and I got to taste some of it's delicious produce. We even visited the ancient site of Skavros. The guide was very generous about sharing his own life and engagement with the island's history and tourism industry, and had the ability to make facts and myth come alive. I would very much recommend this tour; it is definitely worth it.

An incredibly valuable way to spend the first Ios day!
Wow what an amazing guide and incredible e-bike tour! George, the operator, was super easy to communicate with to organise everything and picked us up/dropped off from our villa. He is incredibly knowledgeable about Ios, its history, its nature and everything you could want from an adventurous exploration of this rugged and beautiful island. His attention to every deal, water, cheese tasting and tour to the stories he’s gleaned from many locals really made our first day on Ios. More than a 10/10 for us and we really appreciated his time and care for everything on the day. Just amazing! ❤️ highly highly recommended.

We had a fantastic e-bike tour. George has so much knowledge about the island and the history. The tour was strenuous, but very manageable thanks to the excellent bikes.
The cheese tasting at the local cheese dairy is a must for cheese lovers. Highly recommended. Thank you very much!

Wonderful experience
We had a fabulous day with George, he was full of information about the island and nothing was too much trouble. The bikes were in excellent condition and the visit to the cheese factory was a highlight. An experience we will never forget.

Tasting in an exceptional setting
An unmissable experience when you visit Ios! The setting is exotic and very peaceful. Hélène welcomes you very warmly; you quickly feel at home! The tasting is delicious and very friendly. I will return to take the traditional cooking lesson!!

Amazing tour

The ultimate bar crawl experience
Last year my friends and I got the Life is a Beach Party wristbands and did so many bar crawls with them. It was definitely a highlight of our trip! The bar crawl leaders were fun, friendly and always made sure everyone was having the best time. Our Ios experience wouldn’t have been the same without them. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a guaranteed good night out!
