My wife and I were so fortunate to have had Pete recommended to us our guide! We had the most amazing day as a result.Right from the beginning he was on top of everything; he messaged us a couple days in advance, with a friendly and upbeat message that set the stage for what was to come.Pete is very friendly, warm, kind, gentle and extreme knowledgeable about the area. We were never rushed, had a terrific hike, with amazing views and now have some fantastic pictures and videos of us and our day, thanks to Pete's excellent photography skills (not to be overlooked along with his chocolate expertise!)We finished with a phenomenal lunch where we felt surrounded by family.Our day with Pete was the highlight of our trip! I took this tour on my second day hiking and Cedric customized it based on my interests. He knows the trails like the back of his hands and time every move accordingly to accommodate you and get the best of your time. I highly recommend this tour to anyone who is new to Zermatt and needs to learn the mountains.

This was an amazing hike. Cedric is very knowledgeable and a great tour guide who knows a lot about the mountains in Zermatt. He took the less crowded and pretty paths with magnificent views. I highly recommend this tour.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Incredible Guided Hike in Zermatt – Pete Made It Unforgettable! We had an absolutely amazing guided hiking experience in Zermatt with Pete as our guide. Our day started by going up to Gornergrat, followed by a beautiful train ride down and hiking around the stunning Riffelalp area. The scenery alone was incredible, but Pete truly made the experience exceptional. Pete was kind, genuine, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond throughout the entire day. He brought homemade snacks, including his own chocolate and other healthy treats, which was such a thoughtful and personal touch. Along the hike, he shared helpful information about Zermatt and gave us great recommendations on things to do during our stay.Another thing that made the experience so memorable was Pete's ability to make us appreciate everything around us. He taught us about the area, pointed out local flowers and nature along the trail, and shared interesting details that made the hike feel much more meaningful than simply walking through beautiful scenery. He also happened to be the best photographer! He knew all of the perfect spots for pictures and took amazing photos for us that captured the views and memories we otherwise would have missed. What really stood out was how much he genuinely cared about making our trip special. He spent extra time with us beyond what was expected and even helped plan our next day by suggesting an itinerary to visit Klein Matterhorn. He took us to lunch where locals eat and encouraged us to try a Swiss dish we never would have ordered ourselves — and it ended up being excellent! Pete truly cared more about giving us an unforgettable experience than simply finishing a tour. We felt like we were spending the day with a friend rather than a guide. This was one of the highlights of our trip to Switzerland, and we cannot recommend Pete highly enough. If you’re considering a guided hike in Zermatt, don’t hesitate — book it!

Matthew our guide led us up a beautiful trail. He went the right pace and stopped at good times to let us catch our breath. We had several views of the east and north sides of the Matterhorn! At the top of our hike we stopped for coffee at a family owned restaurant that just opened for the summer season. Matthew has lived in Zermatt for 20 years so he was very knowledgeable about the mountains and other sights. The hike was about 5 miles and took about 4 hours. I am 65 years old and my wife is 71. We are in decent but not great shape physically. We enjoyed the hike and Matthew's company very much!

PDS is simply the best! Do yourself a solid and book them today. Their excellent trained staff will not only make it a “Perfect” day on the mountain, they will give you the best places to see on/off the mountain! Special shout to Adam for making our visit to Zermatt memorable in every way!

Cannot say better things about the experience. I booked a 4 day skiing strip last minute with the PDS team and had a perfect time on the mountain each of the days. Seb, the instructor, was patient and helped me improve my novice skills, while also making sure that it was a fun and challenging experience. It’s a great crew. You will not regret it.

Our Guide, Gioia, was incredible! She made sure we were able to experience the Glacial Palace, Views of the Matterhorn, Italy and France, plenty of information on the hike back to Zermatt!

Garreth, our guide on our hiking tour was awesome! He gave us a lot of facts about the area and the wildlife we saw. The views were amazing!

Our guide Gioia was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable as we got to see the mountains, glaciers, and had a pleasant hike back down into town. She was flexible the entire time with adjusting the itinerary as we went to meet our needs. Could have certainly coordinated on our own but really appreciated having someone to help us navigate the adventure. Would certainly recommend to others.

Gioia was an amazing guide. The trip was exceedingly well planned. We were able to see all the things we wanted to see and so much more. Gioia provided fascinating information about our hike, the town of Zermatt and the history of the area. She was able to answer every wuestion the 3 of us came up with but so much more. The wonderful Valais vineyards are no secret in this part of the world, however Marc’s trip uncovered for us some amazing unknown wines, delicious local cuisine all to a simply stunning backdrop of Valaisan mountain scenery and all wrapped up with Marc’s fantastic and informative banter.Go with an open mind to discover and a big appetite and you won’t be disappointed. Highly recommended !!

The program of the day was well prepared and thought through. Marc's guidance and choice of venues combined with his expertise has been extremely helpful and enjoyable. I will 100% do it again and recommend it to my friends !

Matthew was extremely knowledgeable, entertaining, and showed us an amazing experience on our hike to see the Matterhorn!! He was even willing to stop for an impromptu lunch at Zum See, a restaurant in a little village on the way down the mountain. It was truly a perfect day and we highly recommend asking for Matthew!
