This is a great experience - spectacular views of the Matterhorn and neighboring peaks and glaciers all along the way. There is a short walk to the cable cars and then two cable car rides to reach the Matterhorn Glacial Paradise. Great views from up here as well as ice caves to explore. Remember to bring warm clothing! Salma our guide made the experience very interesting by telling us the history of the Zermatt town and surroundings.

Spectacular Tour
This was an unbelievable tour! Tony was so friendly & knowledgeable. He gave us so much information about all the mountains besides the Matterhorn. He even gave us a little tour of the town of Zermatt. He went over & beyond.

Highly recommend Adam!
Adam was awesome. He was on time and very professional. I am a very timid skier due to an acl/meniscus injury. My boyfriend and I most likely wouldn’t have seen half the mountain without him. He not only gave me a wonderful lesson but confidence to go down areas I would have otherwise avoided. I even skied to the Cervinia side the following day.

Nice tour of Matterhorn and Zermatt
This tour was long, but really lovely! Salma had so much knowledge and was so informative. We really enjoyed the views of the Matterhorn and had a great experience overall. Zermatt was also a very cute town and we learned a lot by walking thru it. All the train tickets and the Matterhorn ticket were included and it was so nice to have someone take us and know exactly where we needed to go. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking to see the Matterhorn and Zermatt.

The ultimate experience
When I signed up to go Paragliding with this outfit, I was expecting the basic 25-30 minute trip from the top of the hill, swing about a quarter mile from the Matterhorn and into town trip. Wow, was I in for a surprise. After we took off, we went back-and-forth to gain altitude while engaging in casual conversation. The partner I drew was Eric, a man with 37 years flying experience. As we were watching other paragliders takeoff below us, he mentioned to me that they will be landing in town long before we are. He told me that those guys just do it for the money, he does it because it’s his passion. He told me that he had nobody on the schedule after me for the day so as long as I had a strong stomach, we’re gonna be in for a good day, and man was he right.We flew around for over 20 minutes before we even got over by the Matterhorn but we didn’t get about a quarter mile from it, we were less than 100 feet from the mountain. We flew along the east face so we could look straight up the side, up to the top. We went around the corner to the south side, did a loop and returned to go along the east face again. It was amazing to see all the water and erosion that’s taking place, running down the face from that close up distance. We then flew off and gained altitude where we flew inside of a passing cloud for a bit. The paragliders that took off after us, we could see them landing in town before we even got close to the Matterhorn.On the way back into Zermatt, while we were over the town, Eric let me take over controlling the flight of the paraglide. It was extremely easy to steer, the same as a parachute but my point in this story is that these guys really do it as a passion and not just because it’s their job. Eric and I were airborne for an hour and 10 minutes which I hope doesn’t get anybody in trouble. It’s not something you can expect them to have time to do every time but if there’s an option to pay for extra time, I would definitely take them up on it because it’s worth it. Thanks a lot guys and thank you Eric, a very memorable check mark off the bucket list.PS, pay for the videos and pictures, it’s well worth it. I was going to take my own pictures and videos with my phone but that thought went out the window less than five minutes after we took off.

Wonderful experience and...
Wonderful experience and some of the best views were before you even get off the train. Our guide was fantastic and told us where to sit for the best photo ops. Watch the weather! If it is cloudy, you should probably cancel because you will not be able to see the Matterhorn unless it's clear or mostly clear. Not worth the money if you can't see the top!

Incredible instructor and wonderful experience!
Thank you again for providing us with the private ski instructor Jan while we were visiting Zermatt. We had the absolute pleasure of having him for four days with our children, aged 9 and 7, and we truly cannot say enough wonderful things about him.Jan is everything you could hope for in an instructor—knowledgeable, thoughtful, patient, and incredibly kind. From the very beginning, he made both kids feel completely comfortable and confident, while still challenging them in all the right ways to improve their skills. His ability to strike that balance is so special and not easy to find.Beyond his excellent instruction, Jan went above and beyond for our entire family. He helped us navigate the mountain seamlessly, assisted with carrying skis, and made each day feel effortless and enjoyable. He was always punctual, professional, and an absolute delight to be around.What stood out most was how much he genuinely cared—not just about teaching, but about making the entire experience memorable for our family. The best decision!
We booked a two-day guided ski tour with PDS and had an excellent experience from start to finish. Both of our guides were fantastic. On day two, Ari planned an incredible day for us—conditions were perfect, and we were able to ski the Matterhorn Glacier Paradise area and make our way over into Cervinia for lunch at Love. Ari was extremely knowledgeable, sharing interesting facts about the mountains and surrounding areas, and was very patient with our group. On day one, we skied with Simon in more challenging weather, but he made the absolute best of it. We explored the Sunnegga and Gornergrat areas, and he was also very knowledgeable about the area. He kept things fun with plenty of laughs along the way.The mountain is a very different setup from what we are used to in the states so this was such a helpful experience. I would highly recommend PDS, and especially Ari and Simon, if you’re looking for an unforgettable guided ski experience!

We had Marcell and he was the perfect instructor for us, very patient and encouraging he had me doing turns again!!We really enjoyed the lesson and it was our highlight boarding with the Matterhorn in view, cherished memories made so thank you

Excellent lessons and guide services
My daughter and I recently returned from skiing in Zermatt. While we were there we booked a day long lesson as well a guiding service to Cervinia. Both experiences were with Ari. I am unable be more effusive with my praise. Ari was able to instruct an older less skilled skier such as myself as well as my experienced skier daughter. He provided well thought out drills and practices to improve our carving skills. He is an older skier, like myself, and he understood my limitations while engaging my experienced 18 year old daughter. Additionally, he was kind enough to take and provide videos of our lessons for future reference. This was a real plus for me.
I was glade to have him guide us to Italy. Being an old sailer, Ari noticed that the winds were picking up and got us back on the Swiss side before the lifts closed. PDS was easy to work with and I would recommend them to anyone.

Marcel was brilliant
Marcel our instructor was amazing, we were all beginers but had very different abilities which Marcel dealt with so well. We all had an amazing time, he was so knowledable, friendly and helpful. My son has always wanted to try snowboarding and Marcel was so good with him. We would love to come back again.
