The multi-day tour with Arctic Range Adventure was an amazing way to experience the Yukon! We loved the great selection of day activities available throughout the trip—it was impressive how much we could experience in just a few days. From outdoor adventures and beautiful wilderness scenery to exploring the incredible Yukon landscape, every day brought something different. Another pleasant surprise was Whitehorse itself. We didn’t expect such a lively selection of restaurants, but there were so many great places to eat after a day of adventure. The combination of exciting outdoor activities during the day and surprisingly good food in the evenings made the whole trip even more enjoyable. If you want to experience a lot of the Yukon in a short amount of time while still having time to enjoy Whitehorse, this is a fantastic adventure package. An unforgettable summer experience!

An incredible evening with Arctic Range Adventure! The northern lights were absolutely beautiful, and the guides made the experience comfortable, informative, and enjoyable from start to finish. Their viewing location is cozy and we loved sitting around the firepit listening to our guide talking about the Arctic while waiting for the Northern Lights.

Our guide was knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about the area, making the tour both exciting and informative. Everything was well organized, and we felt comfortable and well taken care of throughout the experience. Seeing wildlife in such a beautiful natural setting was truly special, and we came away with some fantastic photos. We booked the Arctic Summer Explorer tour from Whitehorse to Inuvik and it was great. From Dawson to Inuvik on the Dempster Highway we crossed the Arctic Circle and our guide told us a lot about the history of the north. In Tuktoyaktuk we visited a local first-nation family and they invited us for a traditional meal and share stories about life on the Arctic ocean.

Wonderful experience! The tour guides were so kind and friendly, it was so helpful to have our days booked out in advance and to not have to think about driving ourselves, and we weren't cold at all with the winter clothes we rented and the warm yurts to stay in when waiting for an aurora showing. We got extremely lucky with the display on our second night, too! It was so amazing we didn't even bother to go on the last night because nothing would ever top it. It was one of the most stunning nights of our lives.One recommendation - if you're thinking of getting a new phone any time soon, do it before your trip! I got good photos with my older iphone but some people got national geographic-worthy photos with their newer phones!

We took the 4 day, 3 night Aurora viewing package with a city tour and visits to the wildlife preserve and Eclipse Spa. Everything was great, from the initial booking and speed of answering our questions to the tours, and the Aurora viewing was spectacular. The bus rides were safe and comfortable, and our guides Lawrence, Maya, and Sunje (hope I'm close in spelling) were fun and informative.

What an amazing tour? The guides were so polite and we saw the Aurora many times from the heated observation tents outside town on there private site. During the day we went dogsledding, sightseeingand downtown Whitehorse is such a beautiful place to hang around. Why go anywhere else?

My husband and I just returned from our Yukon adventure and we loved it! The daytime excursions were fun, informative and, in some cases, quite physically exhilarating. The staff/guides were so good teaching us and really caring for our well-being. Case in point, my husband was very much in pain through his back and the guides determined that when it came to the dog-sledding, he, and therefore we, would be better off going for the ride rather than driving the sleds ourselves. Sincerest thanks to all of our guides, including the gentleman who made several trips to make sure all of our rented gear fit properly. And then there was the Aurora Borealis! We know that no one controls them, but how very lucky we were to see the spectacular display. Thank you, thank you, thank you, for everything!

We didn't know if we would be able to see the Northern Lights during our tour with Arctic Range Adventure knowing that it's a natural phenomenon and appears to be hard to predict. However, the tour was perfectly timed and we saw the lights at full display. I highly recommend them. We also went with another tour company a day earlier but we missed seeing the lights since their tour finished one hour earlier.

Our northern lights tours, Yukon Wildlife Preserve, and city tour were operated by Arctic Range Adventure, and the experience was excellent. Everything was always very well organized and punctual, and the guides were super friendly and made the trip even more fun.

The Arctic Range tour guides were the absolute best anyone could ever imagine or experience. They were mostly world-wide foreign nationals on Canada short-term work visas with multiple language skills (English + at least one other). All were ultra friendly and very knowledgeable about local things of interest. Highly recommended to experience the tour guides regardless of whether the auroras appear. First two nights were cloudy/snowy and not much to see but the guides made it an enjoyable midnight outing anyway. Third night was a spectacular aurora display that totally stunned everyone including the tour guides. What a great show. Kudos to Arctic Range tours, and the Canada/Yukon governments, for supporting the visa program for foreign nationals seeking work as tour guides - it works! We can only hope that many of these guides chose to remain in Canada and continue their contribution to Canada's future. Good-on-you all.

This company does everything it can to make sure you have a great experience. Keep in mind that they don't control Mother Nature, but they do their best to entertain you with talks in the teepees or marshmallow roasting while waiting for the skies to light up. Every staff person we had over our 4 days was helpful, courteous, and fun. We loved them all. We felt bad we had no paper currency on us to tip them, because believe me, they all deserve it.This is a well-run trip, from transfer to and from the airport to customizing your experience according to your tastes. Our flight times kept getting changed, but we kept Arctic Range in the loop and our transfers were easy and seamless on each end. We rented the extra insulated clothing package, which we ended up not needing since it was unseasonably warm while we were there, but better safe than sorry. And not being properly dressed would be MISERABLE!You may have as few as 8 people with you during viewing night (this was us in January), or a large group of 100 if it's the busy Christmas season, but it doesn't matter since they group you in small shuttles by language and provide a tour guide/driver pair for each shuttle. They make you feel welcome and make sure you get the pictures you want (assuming the sun has done its part by shooting out solar flares). There are multiple yurts and teepees, so you won't feel crowded. There are also tripods set up for you to use, and the guides will help you with your phone camera settings to get the best pictures.There's even two outhouses that are heated enough that you won't freeze to death while doing your business, though the updraft from the pit below is definitely a wakeup call.Some reviewers have complained about the staff having accents. Yes, most of the guides are from other countries, since they need to be multilingual in order to communicate with visitors from all over the world. We had no problem understanding them and enjoyed swapping travel stories. I found that having guides from different countries was a plus, not a minus, to the tour.We used the NOAA experimental 2 day Aurora prediction tool you can find online, to see whether we were going to be lucky each night. Even if it looks hopeless, you should go out at least one night to experience roasting marshmallows in the teepees, listen to the silence, watch the stars (or the fat drifting snowflakes), and enjoy the multicultural visitors and their stories.Loved it. We did the Active Winter Heartbeat adventure for 7 days. It was absolutely fantastic. The adventure included a little flight over Whitehorse, a welcome tour, a visit to the wildlife preserve, dog sledding, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, and ice fishing. We added in a trip to Kluane National Park. Also we had three aurora viewing nights. All of the activities were extremely well organized and pickups on schedule. Accommodation in the Raven Inn was good. The adventures were incredible and completely unforgettable. What made everything particularly special was the high quality of the guides. They were amazing and enthusiastic! Friendly and fun and experienced outdoorspeople. Wait till you hear stories from their personal adventures and see their pictures! My daughter and I consider our time in the Yukon a life experience and hope to return another season.

My fam and I had the most amazing time thanks to artic range adventures, we had some issues but they solved them perfectly and the guides are great, they are very professional.

We took a 4 day tour with 3 nights Aurora viewing. We could see Aurora on 2 nights. Aurora was not as bright as I expected but it was still magical. With our I phone, we could take pretty good pictures. The best part of this tour was the staff. They were very interesting people and we had a great time chatting with them.
