Wonderful experience! Gosia is the perfect hostess/teacher. She is very knowledgeable of the history of Poland. The pierogi was delicious! I would highly recommend the workshop!

Gocia was very welcoming, had prepared pierogis ahead so we visited, listened and ate. Information was interesting from all facets of Polish culture, early history to present day, language to traditions to her brother's wedding. She has hard copies and video to enhance her descriptions. Since we had traveled to Poland, we had lots to talk about. Gocia was a charming host. It was a wonderful evening!

We recently attended the Polish Cultural Experience, and it was a delightful and enriching evening that truly brought Poland to life for us, especially as we prepare for our trip this fall.Held in the charming home of our host, Gosha, a proud native “Polka,” the atmosphere was warm and inviting. Gosha’s passion for her homeland was evident from the moment we arrived, setting a friendly tone that made everyone feel welcome.The event was as described, emphasizing cultural immersion. One of the highlights of the evening was the engaging presentation Gosha prepared. Using a large screen in her living room, she provided an informative overview of Polish history, geography, and culture. We even learned a few Polish words, which added a fun, interactive element to the experience. Gosha’s storytelling kept us captivated, making the information feel personal and relatable.While there wasn’t a formal dining experience, we were treated to a generous tasting of homemade pierogi, which were absolutely delicious — a testament to Gosha’s culinary skills.

Wonderful experience with an amazing hostess. It started with a basic language lesson followed by a perfect balance of history, geography and polish culture, with personal anecdotes to provide context and humor. Night ended with some of the best pierogi you will find anywhere. Reinforced reasons to plan my Poland trip ASAP.

The talk was so informative. Gosha was very receptive to questions and provided answers. I learned so much! I am not of Polish background but was very interested in the history of the area. The Perigo was good.

Gosia was a delightful and engaging guide for a comprehensive discussion about Poland. We came away with a better understanding of our culture, both historical and current, and a renewed interest to visit Poland. Recommend!

My daughter bought the Polish Cultural Workshop for me as a 2024 Christmas present. We attended the workshop on April 4th and were amazed at how interesting and informative it was. But most importantly, it was just plain fun for both of us. Both of my grandparents on my mother’s side emigrated to the U.S. from Poland and found a new home in Milwaukee. In the workshop, I learned about the ever-changing borders of Poland over the centuries which gave me the answer to the conflicting census information which listed my grandmother’s place of birth one year in Russia and another year in Poland. The workshop educated my daughter and I on the devastation of Warsaw by the Germans in World War II, Lech Walesa, the shipyard worker who was elected President of Poland, and the first Polish Pope, St. Pope John Paul II. I was surprised how much I liked my first Pierogi and even had seconds! I very highly recommend the workshop to anyone with Polish heritage, and to anyone else who might be interested in this beautiful country. I went home to my wife telling her we needed to visit Poland very soon. My daughter and I left feeling closer than ever as a father and daughter as a result of her hearing me talk about my mother and my grandmother. The evening is something I will never forget.

Gosia was so very welcoming and extremely knowledgable. It was a gift to be able to see her answer some of my father's questions about his Polish grandparents, watch them connect over the different types of food he had growing up, and learn so much about Poland's history together. And the Pierogi we absolutely delicious! I cannot say enough about this wonderful this workshop and dinner - Gosia is a treasure!

This was a really cool experience! My sister and I had a lot of fun; Gosia was an excellent host and the workshop provided a great mix of Polish history, personal stories, Polish culture, and we even learned a few words! I learned a lot from the workshop about Poland and it's rich history and culture. Last but not least, the Pierogi dinner was great--I would highly recommend this!
