To be recommended by a fellow tour guide is high praise indeed, and John Prichard of Celticos did not disappoint. After I gave him a profile of our multi-generational group's interests, John designed an absolutely perfect tour of North Wales that we all thoroughly enjoyed. With casual, relaxed conversation, we learned about the history, culture, language, lore, legends, and natural wonders. In nine hours, we toured breathtaking sights of Anglesey Island, Caernarfon, Snowdonia National Park and its villages. We stopped at comfortable intervals to take small hikes, visit castles, historic sites, and enjoy uniquely Welsh refreshments in local pubs and cafes. We did so much in one day but never felt rushed or overwhelmed. John is knowledgeable, fun, and great at communicating. We found him to be generous with his time, extending our original itinerary and even helping us plan a self-guided tour for the next day. The rate was very reasonable and worth every penny. We highly recommend Celticos Tours. Diolch, John!

We had a tour with Bryan last week and it was so much better than I had even dreamed. I didn’t know what to expect to be honest, as when booking online, you’re never quite sure. However, the minute we met with him he was kind, funny, and knew the city and club backwards and forwards with all kinds of great insider information and historical facts. He picked us up in a gorgeous Mercedes van that was comfortable and perfect for touring the various sites. I can’t recommend Bryan‘s tour enough!

I really enjoyed this tour! I didn’t have a ton of background about Cardiff but learned a lot about Cardiff history and Welsh culture. Eugene gives you fun facts and the walking between each stop wasn’t too far. Two hours was a good amount of time.

First of all I must say how nice John is! He communicated with me several times and on tour day picked us up at the cruise terminal. He is very proud of Wales and took us around giving the history of each place on our itinerary along with stops for photos, a little shopping and even provided a sample of some delicious pastries along with a delicious elderflower drink! We also stopped for lunch near his home. Wales is beautiful and exceeded our expectations! We took several beautiful photos and truly enjoyed spending the day with John! If you are lucky enough to go to Wales and get John as your guide you will have a perfect day like we did!

This was a private, full day tour of Cardiff and South Wales Castles. James was a great guide answering all of our questions giving us an extremely inclusive tour of multiple castles and sites in Cardiff. He was a plethora of information. Wear comfortable walking shoes and be prepared for stairs. But, the sights are well worth the effort. Thanks, also, to Mo for his masterful driving talents. We could not have tackled those roads.

Visited Cardiff with pals for football at the Principality Stadium. We took Fogo's tour directly after arriving to get our bearings, feel of the city and learn a little about the darker / historic side of Cardiff. Eugene didn't disappoint, he was knowledgeable, engaging and answered our questions in addition to pointing out watering holes. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour and would definitely recommend Fogo's tour upon arrival into the city.

Excellent tour! Worth it!!
Outside noise was loud in places (mostly the castle and where there were roadworks) due to traffic, but overall, it was an excellent tour! There are cafes around that make it easy to stop for a drink or bite to eat (as the tour is quite long). We bought tickets to the castle first and toured that on our own, so we were very familiar with the rooms mentioned in the tour as we'd already seen them. Most exciting part was going inside the St John the Baptist church and seeing the cyberman statue in there!!! Walking directions were also excellent. If we got ourselves turned around, it was very brief and super easy to get back on track. Really, really enjoyable!!!

The perfect tour for fans of Wales, Welcome to Wrexham and the journey of the football club following its purchase by a couple of American blokes.Bryan was absolutely spot on. He met us at the hotel and took us on a tour that was informative, funny and full of photo opportunities at landmarks and with characters you may have seen in the show. We had a superb day, full of local history, stories and funny personal accounts of football fans and life in the town over the years. He knows everyone, and everyone knows him, it was brilliant. Visiting The Turf and meeting the landlord just topped the day off.Bryan was really flexible with the arrangements and ended the tour at Llangollen for us as we were going to a concert there in the evening. We could not have asked for more. We would highly recommend this tour if you are in the area. A perfect day out.

Eugene was an incredible tour guide: friendly, knowledge, enthusiastic, and extremely well versed in Doctor Who and Torchwood trivia. He showed us the sites of dozens of scenes from Doctor Who, including many details we would never have found on our own. He has a great photo book as a visual aid to help see how a given site was framed or decorated to fit into different episodes. Highly recommend. This was the high point of our trip to Cardiff (and we really liked Cardiff!)
