Top Vlore Archaeology Tours

Absolutely first class all round.Claudio was so informative, extremely kind (I couldn't walk far, I know... it's a walking tour). My partner thoroughly enjoyed all...Thank you for everything. Thoroughly recommend the company.

Our guide was phenomenal and made all the difference. You could explore these places on your own, but our guide brought it to life. Highly recommend.

Our guide, Klaudio, was knowledgeable and fluent in both English and Italian. He was happy to stop whenever we needed, whether for the toilet, water, or a quick espresso, so we never felt rushed. Pick up and drop off was easy and convenient. We really enjoyed the sites, and the winery visit was the highlight of the day. A relaxed, well-organized tour we’d happily book again.

Booked this last minute and they were very accommodating. It’s early season, so it was just us and our guide/driver Klaudio.Klaudio was very knowledgeable and at no point did we feel rushed.Though the monastery and Apollonia were beautiful, the best part was the wine and food at the end! The host/owner at the Albanica winery was brilliant. Lots of fresh foods (made on site) and 4 wines to try!Excellent value for money and a great way to get out of Vlorë and see some of the country.Highly recommend!

My friend and I had a great experience with Claudio. He went out of his way to make us comfortable and was always willing to make an emergency bathroom and/or raki stop. We are also big history people and Claudio answered all of our questions about Albanian history from the Illyrian times to present day. He was very knowledgeable and obviously excited to share about his lovely country. We loved our day with Claudio and would highly recommend this trip to anyone!

There weren’t enough people to do a full tour, so they set us up with our own driver. He took us to several beautiful roadside outlooks as well as to the main stops on the tour. We opted out of one part, so he took us to an alternate place instead. Super kind and very informative. We learned so much about the history of Albania. AMAZING 😁

I can highly recommend this tour. Berg did not only show all of the beautiful countryside, castles, view points and beaches between Vlora and Porto Palermo, he made me understand the Albanian history, culture and mentality, gave food recommendations, arranged time for a short snorkeling stop and answered all my endless questions. Thank you so much!

We booked a private tour at Berg and loved it! We wanted to get to know the surroundings around Vlorë better and not drive quite as far, but still get to know the mountains and the coast better. The tour was the perfect mix of culture, history, beautiful coves and mountain landscapes. Burg was very reliable, punctual, accommodating and informed us about everything excellently. He was also very flexible and responded to our wishes. We can more than recommend the tour!

We had a nice tour with Klaudio covering all the sites - he was a brilliant guide and had in depth knowledge of places, history and suggestions for food. Really enjoyed!

We took a private full-day tour in the off season and it was just amazing! We visited 3 super beautiful spots (an orthodox Monastery, Apollonia and different parts of the city of Berat). Klaudio goes at a very comfortable pace and gives lots of explanations of historical events during the day and plenty of local background information. Thank you, Klaudio, for a splendid day that will remain in our memories! See you again on our next trips!

Great tour. Guide is really nice and doesn't rush. He is full of knowledge and i learn a lot about Albanie. Excellent driver. I recommend !

The coastal views were stunning, and every stop, from Llogara Pass to Porto Palermo, was full of history and beauty. Bergi was knowledgeable, friendly, and made the day feel truly special. Highly recommend this experience!

We had a great day. From the booking to the execution everything is simply top. We drove with Klaudio who explained everything about the country and people and knows the top places of his country perfectly and shows you. From us the absolute recommendation to book this tour. Thanks to the team.

This private tour was the highlight of our trip to Vlore. From the breathtaking views at Llogara Pass to the peaceful beauty of Porto Palermo, every stop was thoughtfully planned. Our guide was friendly, knowledgeable, and gave us plenty of time to swim, explore, and take photos. The drive along the coast was stunning and relaxing. Highly recommend if you're looking for a personalized, authentic experience away from the crowds!

Great trip lovely safe driver Claudio! Longer review written and lost in Cool Destinations somewhere so this one short and to the point.

We booked a full day trip through getyourguide. We were a small group of seven tourists in total. Vlora Daily Trip were very efficient and communications were good, confirming the details the night before and letting us know when they were 10 minutes away from pick up at our hotel (that convenience was one of the reasons I picked this trip). Their usual driver had a medical problem so unfortunately we had a driver who didn't really speak English, but he was friendly and drove safely, so we got by well enough, even managing to share a few jokes! The transport was clean and comfortable and we were given a free bottle of water and a coffee. There isn't much to see at Zvernec (we stayed just 20 minutes), but the view across the foot bridge is breathtaking, Appollonia isn't on the scale of Ephesus, for example, but it was still quite impressive (we spent 90 minutes here), with some information boards (a guided tour would have been great), and I used the Internet to get more details at both sites.Berat was the crowning glory and here we had an English speaking guide, Bruno. The city is beautiful with a lot of history and legend, and Bruno was entertaining and informative. I would certainly recommend a trip to Berat. Bruno also recommended a nice place to eat at the end of the two hour tour, where we had some traditional food a cold beer. All in all it was a nice way to see and experience a different side to Albania away from the coast where we were staying in Vlore. The day was rounded off by a stop at a beautiful vista along rhe Vlora bypass. Absolutely stunning!
