... Or do we gaze at the stars because we are human? So I've always been prone to getting a little existential when I look up at the vastness of the night sky. At risk of sounding sentimental though, this tour changed something in me. I had such a profoundly memorable experience stargazing with Brax and Dev! They did a wonderful job of blending knowledgeable fun facts with delightfully relatable storytelling. They answered all our silly questions, guided us to beautiful sights in the telescope, and somehow managed to teach about the science of binary stars, clusters, and nebulas all while sharing tales of vain Ethiopian queens, jealous Greek gods, or local Native American folklore. You could tell our guides had carefully cultivated this special space, and it all added up to a lovely relaxing evening which channeled my earlier existentialism into curiosity, wonder, and a sense of belonging with the rest of the human family. We knew little to nothing about the stars or constellations and learned soo much in just an hour. Devyn, our expert star guide, explained everything well and we loved hearing the stories behind everything! It was the perfect way to end our trip at Zion. Comparably affordable as well, we couldn’t pass it up!

I have been into Zion many times but did not realize how large it was. I got to see the back side of Zion and views I could not have seen otherwise. The ghosttown, Grafton, was a great stop. The guides had such great knowledge and we're very informative.

It was amazing!! We were celebrating a friends birthday party and it was a blast. Braxton planned things out well so that the equipment was already in place by the time the sun had set. He came prepared with multiple lasers to accommodate the light from the moon as well. It was very informative and overall fun experience! Braxton did a great job tailoring the experience to our group 😁

Braxton, our star guide, was fantastic! He was so knowledgeable about the night sky, and the Greek myths and the science behind what we were observing!! He brought a high powered telescope with him, and we were able to see Venus close-up, and a cluster of nebula and a whole other galaxy in the Hercules constellation! With his laser pointer, he showed us the stars and constellations and illustrated what we were looking at in a way I’ve never been able to see before! And the Milky Way was right there over our heads; it felt like we could reach out and touch it! Also, the spot where we met up was really cool; a beautiful twisting mountain road to a quiet, light-free mountain top. It felt like we were on top of the world!! Braxton really made us feel like the night was personalized just for us! Thank you so much! We highly recommend the Stargazing experience with Braxton!

I had such a great experience on this stargazing tour! Braxton's storytelling about the history of the stars was fascinating and made the experience so much more meaningful. As a local, it gave me the chance to experience Southern Utah in a way I never had before. Looking through the telescope made it feel so immersive and interactive, and seeing the night sky up close was unforgettable. It honestly was one of those experiences that, as soon as it was over, I wanted to do it again, and bring more friends so they could experience it too. I'll definitely be booking another tour and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a unique and memorable experience.
