What do you do in Amboise? Visit Chateaus, of course. And enjoy some excellent Loire valley wines. This tour was a great way to do it all in 9 hours. Kyllian was an outstanding guide. He is a real student of the history of the area in general and of the chateaus specifically. He answered questions about the kings, the architecture, the art work, and the gardens with ease and authority. I highly recommend the tour, and our excellent tour guide.

Chloé was fabulous. She was attentive and provided a lot of information about the history of the chateaux we visited. We loved seeing Chenonceau and Chambord. Definitely would love to do another trip back to Loire valley to see the other chateaux including the place where Leonardo da Vinci was buried!

I originally signed up for a half day tour through a third party but staff at Vin Loire reached out and encouraged me to do the full day and I'm so glad I did. Rom was the tour guide and he was fantastic! He was gracious and kind when I had a transportation issue that resulted in a tardy arrival (thankfully only a few minutes), was knowledgeable, informative and clearly had good relationships with those who worked or owned the places we visited.Highlights: learning about the region and subregions, the wine caves, the beautiful scenery, the thoughtful lunch, the cheeses/meats,etc., the farm visit, and of course all of the wine! I didn't think it was possible but Rom introduced me to sweet whites in a way that made then accessible and enjoyable (something I'd never expected) as well as affirming my love of Chenin Blanc and Cabernet Franc.I'm grateful I had the opportunity to do the full day adventure and would highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys wine, learning about wine, history, and the loire valley region.

I thought the chateaux’s were incredible! The weather was beautiful which also helped. It was just the right amount of history for me and I liked that the tour was self guided. So if I wanted to go to a particular area of the chateaux or grounds then I could. If you like a little more history I would recommend buying the audio tour. However keep in mind that you won’t be able to go through the whole audio tour slowly you might have to skip some. Lunch is not included, so it’s best to bring a snack and plenty of water! There are some food stands, a tiny food truck at the first chateaux and some restaurants at the other. But again you’re only spending about 2-3 hours total at each place

Alex was an excellent guide. Very educated and well informed regarding French history and culture. The tour was a great pace and plenty of time to self explore. There were several great places for lunch at Chambord before heading to Chenaceau.

One of the best wine tours I’ve been on. Three different, delicious wineries with a fantastic lunch. Van was comfortable. The guide was incredibly knowledgeable. Also feed you a bunch with cheese and charcuterie to go with the wine. Great value. Aurelie our guide was great. Cannot recommend more highly! One thing to point out—this really was a full day. Pick up was at 9am, didn’t get back until 5-6pm.

Exceptional experience with the most beautiful views.
My husband and I have been fortunate to experience the Châteaus from above as well as below. Traveling in the hot air balloon has definitely exceeded our expectations. Their entire Balloon Revolution team from the time of booking, the pickup, flight and the snack following the flight were very friendly and very welcoming. I would highly recommend this experience.

Vincent was an excellent tour guide with extensive knowledge about viticulture and wine making. We visited two different wineries and tasted probably 10-12 different wines in total. Vincent also provided delicious meats and cheeses to pair with the wines.

The tour guide and the sites were great! The wine tasting was very informative, with small samples of quite a few wines. Communication to the tour operator and guide were very good before and during the tour. I feel they went the extra mile to overcome some challenges to make sure that the tour went well for everyone. My only complaint is that I'd like to have had a little more time at the chateaux, but we were also running a little late due to unavoidable circumstances, so there may be more time on other tours

The absolute best wine tasting experience I've ever had. Thomas not only guided us through the cellars and introduce the wines, but gave us the best wine tasting education that I have ever seen. I've taken video courses from library etc, but none compare to the education that Thomas provided. Learned enough to tell what kind of wine, characteristics, and taste notes and alcohol content without seeing the bottle or tasting the wine. Heavy focus on aroma and bouquet with a exhibit that lets you experience the aroma and bouquet in a sample environment before the actual tasting. Wines were excellent and have a great shipping offer.
