A Wonderful Wine Experience in the Priorat RegionWhat a fantastic day! My wife and I, along with two friends, arranged a private tour through El Brogit just a couple of weeks before our visit to the Tarragona area. Meritxell put together a wonderful itinerary that included small wineries, an olive oil tasting, an ancient monastery, and a delicious lunch.Every stop was special and felt genuinely local. At Gritelles, we met the winemaker, whose incredible knowledge of wine, the land, and the region made the tasting fascinating. We all left a little “wine wiser,” and the wines were excellent.The olive oil tasting was another highlight, hosted by a wonderfully lively woman whom my wife absolutely adored. The ancient monastery, tucked away in the countryside, offered a fascinating glimpse into the region’s history.Lunch was outstanding, with an array of tapas paired with the owner’s wines. The three different local pâtés were a particular favorite.Our final stop was in the beautiful little town of Porrera, where we visited an ancient cellar carved into the rock. We saw centuries-old walnut casks, French oak barrels, and bottles that had been aging for more than 30 years. The winemaker even took time away from the grape harvest to meet with us and share his wines. We bought one of those old bottles, which he had to carefully clean before putting the label on!This was so much more than a wine tour—it was a wonderful introduction to the wine, food, history, and people of the Priorat region. El Brogit created a memorable and very personal experience for the four of us. Highly recommended!

Very nice experience to explore the city this way! At the beginning, the app is a bit confusing and not very intuitive, but once you start the tour, it becomes the best virtual tour we’ve done so far. It’s fully GPS-guided and the voice-over is really pleasant, sharing fun facts and interesting stories along the way. You simply can’t get lost because the app “sees” everything ;-) Absolutely recommended!

There is an itinerary but you can change it. We focused on the Roman sights. It is more interesting with a guide.

Me and my mum had such a wonderful day exploring the wineyards in the Priorat region with Meritxell who took us on a path which was safe for my mum to walk on and was such a warm, joyous person to be around and taught us so much about the region, the wine and everything in between!We then had an amazing wine tasting which made us love the place even more! Everyone was so knowledgeable and welcoming and made our day extra special!

While in Tarragona, it was like being transported back to the Roman Empire era. The Roman amphitheater is awesome. Sitges on the other hand has beautiful beaches and a lively cultural scene. The tour guide was able to quite effectively showcase these two distinct destinations in Catalonia, Spain. We also enjoyed a nice meal at a local restaurant. My family thoroughly enjoyed every moment.

We appreciate the meticulous planning and the comfortable transportation, which made the journey between locations stress-free and enjoyable. Seeing the old towns, iconic churches, art galleries and the golden beaches, is an experience that we will always remember.

We had a marvelous day with Carl and Peter. It was a shore excursion out of Tarragona. They are excellent guides - knowledgeable, capable, professional and entertaining. They made the day really special and memorable and I would highly recommend anyone to tour with them in the Barcelona area. They took the time to understand our interests and to create a tour that was what we wanted. They have an excellent minivan, immaculately clean and comfortable. Also, the booking process with them was easy and accurate.

We had a wonderful 5-hour tour in Tarragona with brothers Peter and Carl. The positive experience began with a thoughtful email the day before providing important details and advice. They arrived promptly in a comfortable and clean vehicle and with a well-organized itinerary. It was such a pleasure to have one brother drive and the other guide, as we wasted no time at all parking the car at each site. Peter and Carl were charming, entertaining and knowledgeable. They provided a fantastic experience. Highly recommended for tours in Tarragona , Barcelona and nearby towns in France. We loved these guys!

As part of our holiday in Spain, we were in Catalonia for a few days and I am glad to have opted to take this tour, as I am interested in knowing more about ancient empires. It was nice to have an experience of Tarragona’s rich history and see it's natural beauty. The tour guide told us a lot of interesting facts about the architectural aspects in and surrounding Tarragona.

Good last minute alternative to a guided tour. Audio and gps map worked well. Only thing my son would have liked is for it to end up back closer to starting point, making it a loop

The guide was clear, informative, and funny. It gave options at each location should you choose to pause or divert. We really enjoyed our tour and just wish we had more time to use it.
