We had an amazing time with our tour guide Kenny and the trail was great! We enjoyed taking a side route that meandered through the forest. Our guide was friendly, personable, and very knowledgeable about the landscape and Norwegian culture. Highly recommend!!

I can’t recommend Kenny highly enough as a guide for the Kjerag hike.He went out of his way to check the weather beforehand and adjusted our departure time slightly so we could still have the hotel breakfast, which only starts at 7am on weekends. During the hike he looked after everyone and took some great photos of the group.The real highlight, though, was when both outsoles came off my shoes partway through. Kenny improvised a fix on the spot and got me back down safely. The rest of the group was very helpful in handling the situation too. If you’re doing Kjerag, ask for Kenny.Justin

Its a strenuous activity. ( im a fit 66 year old) but thoroughly well worth the climb to take in a most awesome sight. The Guidewere very friendly and helpful.

We had an incredible two days exploring Norway with Fjord Hikes, and both days ended up being highlights of our trip.On our first day, we did the challenging Kjerag hike with Kenny. He made us feel super safe throughout the hike while somehow turning the challenge into a lot of fun. We had lunch at a quiet hidden spot along the trail that only a few hikers know about, which made the experience even more special. Kenny is incredibly passionate about nature and world cultures, and made everyone in our small group of four feel included in every conversation. And most importantly, he believes in the existence of trolls, which we learned is apparently a very important part of Norwegian culture! 😂On our second day, my wife and I explored Månafossen with Alan and his wonderful dog, Balda. We left Stavanger at 7am, which was perfect as we had the magnificent waterfall almost entirely to ourselves. We continued through the peaceful landscape to the farmhouse before heading out for the Via Ferrata, which was A LOT OF FUN!!! Alan made us feel safe every step of the way, so we could simply enjoy the experience. He also has incredible knowledge about Norwegian culture and nature, and is genuinely passionate about traveling and exploring the world. It felt less like spending the day with a guide and more like exploring Norway with a fellow traveler.We finished the day at an amazing local farmers market, tasting some of the best local cheese and meat we’ve ever had.What really made Fjord Hikes special for us was the people. Both Kenny and Alan weren’t just knowledgeable guides, but genuinely interesting people who clearly love nature, travel, and sharing Norway with others. Two very different adventures, two fantastic guides, and easily some of our favorite memories from Norway. Highly recommended!

Amazing day out, seeing Manafossen waterfall, doing a via ferrata, driving up the fjords and visiting local stores. My guide Alan was a great guide on the day. It ended up being just me on the tour, and all atill went ahead. Alan was great in sharing local information on the area, some Norwegian folklore, and just general conversation. Highly recommend the manafossen and via ferrata tour, bring a good mix and tranquil hikes, and some adrenaline

This tour was a perfect mix of awe-inspiring nature, Norwegian history, food and craft. Sean is incredibly knowledgeable—a perfect guide and host of this beautiful region. From waterfalls to fjordside pastures, from boulders thrown by trolls and gods to the most endearing canine companion, this was an excursion not to be missed. The guide Erlend shared plenty of insights about the history and lifestyle of the region. The hike (which was also pleasantly not crowded) provided amazing views and the tasty traditional meal was a nice reward afterwards. A special note for the lovely dog Baldur who made this trip extra special.

We were on the Fjord Cruise to Lysefjord & Preikestolen(Pulpit Rock) with Rodne Fjord Cruise. It was a 3 hour cruise for $84.67pp. The meeting point is very easy to get to from the cruise dock, about a 5 minute walk. You can ride inside or outside the boat. We made a couple of stops to see Vagabond Cave, to feed the goats, to see Pulpit Rock and the Hengjanefossen Waterfall. It was amazing to look up at Pulpit Rock from the fjord and think Tom Cruise climbed this for the movie Mission Impossible, Fallout. It was a beautiful day and the ride was very smooth. The boat has a snack bar and restrooms on board.

From the minute that we were picked up from our hotel in Stavanger until we were dropped off our whole experience was excellent. Our two guides, Anan and Hector, who accompanied us up Pulpit Rock (Preikestolen) we’re first class ensuring our safety was of primary importance, their local knowledge was very impressive and nothing was to much bother to them. As a person of advanced years I was very much aware that they were looking out for me and not once was I pressured into going quicker. Frankly it was akin to walking with friends rather than guides who we had only just met and they certainly added that extra special ingredient to the complete experience.This trip across Norway was organsied for my Dad's 80th birthday and Hector and Anan even carried a birthday cake, alcohol free fizz and everyone sang Happy Birthday at the top. What a fabulous memory and a tearful one making this extra special for my Dad.Would thoroughly recommend them.

I went with the guide Máximo, very friendly. He looked for me on time at the hotel. At the beginning of the excursion he explained to us very well what it would be like. Very attentive to the needs of the group. He offered to take photos. A very good experience. It is a walk of approximately 45 minutes. The first section is the most complicated, as the guide said. But then not so much. I loved the c hike. And in addition to the appropriate clothing, I also consider that it is better to go with a guide.

Such a lovely hike and great company with Erland! Was able to book very last minute and it was no problem at all! And I loved having Baba the border collie join us for the hike!
