Our Escapely Escape the City Adventure made for a very fun afternoon! It was a great teamwork experience for my husband and I. Once we caught on to how things worked, we didn’t need very many hints, but we were glad they were available as we were learning. In the end we got to visit a bunch of neat spots to see near downtown St Louis. We have lived here for a while and some were new to us, while we got to look at the familiar ones a new way, and notice new things about them. It was a great balance of challenge and fun with some exploring added in. It was a super change of pace and new experience for us! Perfect for two people- might have been hard for one- a small group of four or so could also probably have a great time.

Took me about 5 hours. It was really well put together. Just hard enough to need a few hints sometimes. Not too much walking, just enough. Downtown in the heat of summer was great because of the shade the buildings provide. Taco place is so-so. I might leave that suggestion out of the game. Overall I loved the game!!

The adventure was so much fun! I was with 2 16 yr old - it's hard to find family activities that hold their attention. It took hours to complete this and they stayed involved throughout the whole thing. I will say though - they suggest a few hours to complete, it took us 2 trips and about 4 hours, including using several "hints" along the way. Maybe we aren't average but I wanted to mention it.

My daughter and son-in-law found this adventure with an online search and gave it to me as a Christmas gift. We found the scenario well thought out and challenging; especially since 4 of our 5 participants did not have much knowledge about St. Louis City or Cardinal baseball player history. We did not use many of the hints and explanations, but when we did use them, they were very useful. Although I have lived in the St. Louis area for about 40 years, my family and I enjoyed learning more about St. Louis city and Cardinal baseball history and walking through less familiar parts of St. Louis.Finally, we recognize creating this adventure required a major level of effort from some very creative people and found the price very reasonable; especially when compared to a standard escape room event for 5 players. We recommended this adventure to friends and hope they, and perhaps others, will invest in an Escapely adventure and enjoy it as much as we did.Thank you Rachel, and team, for creating a challenging experience that was certainly worth every penny.

This was a great way to see parts of Saint Louis that I wouldn’t have thought to visit. We were prepared for a LOT of walking and we were not disappointed. We covered a lot of ground! We chose the more challenging version of the game - we had to use a few hints but by and large we were able to get through it on wits alone. That’s not to say it was easy - many of the puzzles had us stumped but we eventually got them in the end. I’m giving only 4 stars — inside the game kit was a small box that held the answer to the whole thing and it was SUPPOSED to be locked with a 3 digit padlock. Unfortunately, the lock was open and rattling around it the cardboard box everything came in. Luckily enough, my husband and I are very methodical and only open envelopes and things when told to do so. Had we not done that, we would’ve seen the big reveal at the very start.

We had a lot of fun exploring St Louis whilst simultaneously solving riddles. It was a cool twist to a classic escape room and all puzzles and story were thoroughly thought out well! We had an absolute blast!

This was a lot of fun! Very challenging but great. I think 2 is ideal for this. Its not big enough to share too much. Walking around was a fun addition.

We are a church youth group from Minnesota coming to a mission trip in St. Louis. We used the Escapely as a way to introduce us to St. Louis. It did that very well!

First I want to say, this is a fantastic way to see a city—especially if you have teenagers, and I think we will definitely do this again. We were visiting my son for a college event on the same weekend of my daughter's 18th birthday. I wanted to plan something really special for her birthday, while also experiencing the city. She loves Escape Rooms so this seemed like the perfect solution. She absolutely loved this game, but it was really hard to solve—especially at the end. This is why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. Anyone endeavoring this game needs at least one highly motivated person to lead the charge, and everyone else in the group needs to be prepared to contribute. It took us 4 hours to get through five of the clues, and we were too tired to keep solving the clues to finish the game. Next time we will plan to spend the entire day doing this. We will start early, plan to take lunch and snack breaks and enjoy the sights along the way.

Want to visit your town with a new twist? I recommend playing Escapely with friends as a fun way to interact with locations and work together to solve puzzles in order to stop the bad guys. You will visit several locations within an easy walking area, see landmarks and spaces with renewed interest while seeking real clues and online cues to answer questions. I so appreciated the hint feature which helped with straight forward information and help should you need it. The materials included are well made and added to the fun. Escapely also included local spots to visit while on the case. This would be a fun activity while on vacation as well.

We loved this game, such a great way to see the city! We took our 13 year old, who definitely would've complained about walking around that much were it not for the engaging game, but she loved it! I like that there are as many hints available as you need, so you can decide when you're stumped and get just enough info to move on while still feeling like you're working for it. We ended up spending most of the day doing this, but took it slow, stopping for food, etc.

We spent most the day on it, but took it slow and enjoyed the experience. It was a great way to see the city!

The all around game was pretty neat. Not really easy to figure out without continuous clues. Weather permitting, my experience would have been a lot drier. Still good times!
