Booked a private tour for our family of 6 when we stopped on our cruise in St. Thomas. Worth the little bit of extra money to have a private charter and would definitely book again next time we come to the area. Our guide Sean made our trip. Very friendly and knowledgeable, explained the different island histories and pointed out local landmarks. Customized our tour and we go to do what WE wanted. Amazing tour and it just didn't last long enough because we had to get back to the ship!

We had the best time on this tour. Our captain was knowledgeable and personable. the boat was clean and comfortable and just beautiful. We went snorkeling and saw some gorgeous beaches and really cool fish. Unfortunately due to the wind and how choppy the water was we were unable to do the "lunch" portion that is advertised as an option, as that would have eaten up all of our time. This was of no fault to the charter, just the weather not wanting to cooperate, but something to keep in mind if you have your heart set on it. We would absolutely book with Bonus Time Charters again.

We took a tour with Ron for the day. We reserved ahead of time and were able to hit all the spots we had wanted to see. Ron was a fantastic guide, we appreciated getting to know some of the culture, history, and beauty of the island. He was also very accommodating to our extended family of 12. It was also great being able to relax and enjoy the view, not having to worry about driving or directions. The company was fabulous at communication, as the weather forecast was frequently changing. Great company and a stellar guide!!

A must do on your trip to the VIs. You will LOVE Jenn. We fell in love with St John all because of her. Every minute was awe-inspiring, informative and so much fun. She will customize it to your liking or you can totally leave it up to her. Worth every penny! Can’t wait to go back!

Captain Remo and Mate Riley took us to Virgin Gorda and then caves at Norman Island. Captain was entertaining singing and being animated while doing so. Riley would give me the tablet to have access to the playlist as he insisted that he had to learn by his mistakes. Kidding aside, if you don’t enjoy the trip, it’s your own fault.

Amazing! 3 unique bays, plenty of time at each. Evans our driver was awesome - even brought some cold waters for us when we needed it most! Looked out for all 10 of us with expert tips and insider info! A great first day!

Our experience on the St. John Discover the Baths of Virgin Gorda tour was absolutely outstanding from start to finish. This trip was especially meaningful for us because we were celebrating the 10th anniversary of getting married at The Baths, and it was our first time returning as part of a guided tour.Siera was an incredible host who made everyone feel welcome from the moment we boarded. Her warm, friendly personality set the tone for the entire day and made every guest feel like they were in great hands.Elijah was equally fantastic. He was funny, engaging, and incredibly informative throughout the trip. His professionalism, knowledge of the area, and ability to keep everyone entertained made the experience even more enjoyable.Our captain also deserves special recognition. We greatly appreciated his flexibility with our departure plans, which meant a lot to us on such a special anniversary. His professionalism and focus on providing a great guest experience were evident throughout the day.The entire excursion was exceptionally well organized. Breakfast was delicious, the boat was comfortable, and the open bar was managed responsibly, creating a fun atmosphere while ensuring everyone stayed safe and comfortable. Lunch at the top of The Baths was as good as always, and the snorkeling stop at the caves was perfectly planned.f you’re considering a visit to Virgin Gorda and The Baths, we cannot recommend Cruz Bay Watersports highly enough. Captain Ron was an amazing captan with a ton of knowledge about St. John. He went above and beyond to make my friends 50th birthday a memory she will forever cherish. The sea conditions outside the bay were pretty rough but he was able to navigate us through with ease. This company is all about customer service and providing an experience unlike any other. I have used many private charter companies here and Island Roots will be forever my go to. Already planning for next year!!!

Very informative, friendly workout, and a whole lot of FUNNNNNNN. Jonathan and Alonzo were the best. Make sure you guys have them. They spoke to us the whole time and even helped with snorkeling lol

Excellent way to spend the day.

Just wanted to give a shoutout to Island Roots Charters and our fantastic captain Troy! Many people recommended this company so wanted to follow up and say thank you! We ended up extending our day to navigate up to the Sound and throughout VG, Tortola, Saba Rock and the Baths. It was the perfect non-scheduled day! Troy provided a smooth ride and navigated through some heavy rain patches with ease! He also took us to the perfect spots! Bitter End Yacht Club, Nova at Oil Nut Bay for lunch , Saba Rock, and Foxys! Family friendly bar crawl just as requested! Highly recommended Island Roots from start to finish!

It was just the two of us plus Mike our captain. He is a knowledgeable skipper, great sailing teacher, and consummate host. We have been on private sailing charters before in other places and this was the best. The boat is spacious and comfortable and Mike provides all you need for snorkeling whatever your swimming skills are. Will take another excursion with him when we return to St. John.

Andrew is a great captain. Nice boat. Great snorkeling and some sightseeing.

This experience was a highlight of our trip. First Bonus Time saved the day for us, our original group cancelled due to mechanical failure. Our property manager gave me Bonus Times phone and I reached out late at night asking if they could accommodate us for the very next day. They did and we had the best boat captain and an amazing experience. Caroline was fantastic and took us sightseeing and snorkeling. We had a blast. The boat was very nice. I would highly recommend Bonus Time for your boating experience.

It was awesome. Our guide Pat was amazing and very knowledgeable and helped us see exactly what we wanted. I highly recommend booking this if you spend the day on St John and want to see a lot of the beaches.
