Top Sorrento Classes & Workshops

They were so welcoming, friendly, and had so much knowledge to share. I loved the fresco I was able to make! Great experience!

Aerma and Attilio are two fantastic people! As soon as you arrive, you are catapulted into the world of Aerma and her works. The experience takes place on a breathtaking terrace, which, accompanied by an aperitif, made everything even more formidable. Highly recommended!!!!❤️

This was a fantastic experience. Angela and Antonio showed us how their family has made cheese for generations. Sharing a few of their traditions as well. Great tasting afterwards of their products to top off the experience.

We had an incredible time at Caseificio Starace. We ended up having a bit of experience getting lost on the way and getting there as we had the wrong address (was not listed correctly on Apple Maps), but Angela was amazing and came to the spot we were and picked us up where we were! Seriously grateful to her and Antonio's grace and care, not just during the tour but to help us out when we were lost on the way!The experience itself was great! Angela showed us how their cheese was made and how every part of the process (the whey, cream, etc...) is used. We got to mold and make cheese, and the lovely cheese tasting afterwards in their garden was incredible. You might fine other mozzarella experiences, but the homestyle feel of our time there was incredible! Thank you guys!

Great experience. Highly recommend it. Instructor was super and ran the session in English and Italian. All ages and ability so was nice and chill. Beautiful setting amongst the waves and sunset. Loved it!

This was one of the most memorable yoga classes I have taken. The setting is breathtaking. The instructor was great and accommodating where he spoke English and Italian. Highly recommended.

Roberta was a fabulous language specialist and tour guide. She made me feel comfortable with my minimal fluency in Italian! In addition, she showed me places in Sorrento that I had not found on my own, as well as giving me some very helpful history of the area.

I cannot recommend Roberta highly enough.. She was an outstanding teacher! She is patient, flexible, understanding and kind. She gave me so much confidence to speak Italian. Her lessons were perfect, according to my interests, outside, in nature, even in the sea. She opened up the Sorrento area to me and helped me experience it as a local, not just a tourist. Book her lessons, you'll be so glad you did!!! 👍👍👍

This visit was one that was truly unique, personable and unforgettable. I was traveling with my group of friends who are studying Italian. We were welcomed by the artist who showed us her creations which are exquisite. She demonstrated the art of fresco painting and later conducted a workshop at which we had the opportunity to create our own masterpieces. During this experience, we enjoyed a sumptuous apertivo on the 19th century villa terrace.

It has been INCREDIBLE! It is a completely recommended experience for anyone. Both the artist and her husband are super welcoming and friendly. The views from where the fresco is made are spectacular. You don't need to know anything about the technique or art in general since she explains it to you from scratch and helps you with everything you need. Thanks to this experience you take home a unique memory of Italian culture that will last you a lifetime. 100% RECOMMENDED

My teenaged son, spouse, and I had a great time watching how mozzarella is made, shaping it, and then tasting it along with other local foods. We learned that Starace is one of only two that doesn't use chemicals to speed up the process of cheesemaking so it's much slower and more traditional. We also learned that the weather in different parts of Italy affects what cheeses can be made in those locations. Our hosts were wonderful, and it was great to see a family business still going strong after generations. We originally were going to go to another dairy, but that one seemed quite disorganized. We were all glad it worked out to come to Starace instead.

I really loved this class! Antonio was a great teacher and very personable. He taught me about his third-generation family business. He walked me through the steps of making mozzarella, showing the process in his facility. I can’t wait to try making mozzarella at home :)

Beautiful setting and a wonderful teacher. A gorgeous way to spend the evening. I felt very welcomed.

Amazing yoga class! The instructor was clear and easy to follow, guiding us through a beautifully crafted sequence perfect for beginners and seasoned practitioners alike. The stunning scenery elevated the experience to another level. Highly recommend!

I had the most incredible experience with Robi, she is an amazing person and Italian teacher. We first took a walk to a coffee shop then to Villa Comunale di Sorrento and Marina grande, I spent the whole morning with her, practicing my Italian. I highly recommend Robi, I hope I can take another walk with her next time I’m in Sorrento.❤️

I spent a morning with Roberta from Walk&Talk Sorrento, and it was one of the most enjoyable things I did during my time in Sorrento. She took me to Bagni della Regina Giovanna, with a quick stop for coffee beforehand. Throughout the experience, she gently helped me practice Italian in a natural, relaxed way. She was kind, patient, and encouraging — correcting me with care and making the learning feel fun and effortless. Her positive energy and genuine love for what she does made it feel more like spending time with a friend than being on a tour.If you're looking for something real, personal, and enriching in Sorrento, I can't recommend Roberta enough!
