We had a great time on this guided tour! Bjorn was extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and flexible. Would recommend!

Very informative and a great way to experience some back streets of Dresden and interact with locals.

Our guide delivered an excellent tour of the city, beginning by asking about our specific interests to tailor the experience perfectly. She was highly knowledgeable, insightful, and generous with her time, answering all our questions along the way. We also greatly appreciated her dining recommendations while in town.

We stayed in Leipzig for a day and looked at the center Great was the Nicolai and the Thomas Cherry, the great passages with many Small boutiques Gladly we come back then with a little more time

Laurence was a terrific guide: He was well-informed & personable. It was more than worth the price of the tour!

The Elbe was a beautiful and peaceful river. The audio accompanying the walk was great. We enjoyed the bridge and its views of the buildings.

What a fabulous way to see underground medieval Prague. Mikaela is very knowledgeable and loves her tours to be fun and fact filled. We learned and enjoyed this unique tour.

We are a family of five with three small children. We signed up for Elvira Fritzsche’s tour ‘First Date with Leipzig’. We found it really fantastic! Our time was short (one full day), and her tour gave us a comprehensive and fun overview of key, significant and fun parts of the city. She also tailored the tour to stimulate the interest of the kids; and made a fun excursion when it was clear they needed a break. Elvira is a wonderful guide to this incredible, fun and friendly city.

I enjoyed the self pace so I could watch the ships on the Elbe , or waiting to get my picture in a spot many people liked as well. It was informative, personal and the GPS function works just as it claimed! Would love to have another one of these for other parts of the city!!!

I dropped the ball on making a reservation and held out very little hope on this happening...but sent an email late Sunday night. First thing Monday was a response on where to meet for a private tour. Great info and a fun perspective into a very diverse city

Had one night in Dresden while traveling from Berlin to Prague, so decided to make the most of it as I would be on my own.Getyourguide brought up this your and times were perfect, plus it would take me to a area of the city that I probably would not have visited. Not really a sightseeing tour per se, but it's more the guide Danilo taking you in to the real Dresden and talking to you about what life was like (especially his) in the old East Germany.Probably 1/3 of the tour is spent in a cafe/bar talking away, but I found Danilo a really interesting guy and his knowledge was amazing (I asked him about Putin living in Dresden in the 80's and he knew exactly where he lived).Took us to some really interesting places. If you you have the time then I would strongly recommend this tour

Short tour that is entirely about the Brühlsche terrrasse. Pleasant voice and clear content. The tour is very short so I think the price is on the expensive side.

Great informative guide with plenty of local historical knowledge. The guide had plenty of enthusiasm for the local historical significance of Liepzig.

Both my husband and I appreciated the knowledge that Elvira passed on to us. Unfortunately, we were there on Dec 24 - that was the worst day to choose since almost all the shops and restaurants were closed due to the christmas holiday. Not to worry - we understood that and will make a note to keep that in mind when visiting Leipzig again. Otherwise, the city has a lot to offer and explore. Hopefully we'll be able to in the future.

I highly recommend this tour the first night you are in Dresden to get familiar with the city and get an insight into the culture that makes it such a great city. You'll learn the history behind Neustadt and all the nightlife and art that makes it such a cool neighborhood. Plus you can meet other people visiting the city. Next time I visit, I hope Danilo has a hot air balloon tour of the entire city.

I think there are many obvious sites to see in Dresden - mostly in the Altstadt area - and they are incredibly beautiful. They are a great testament to the will of the city to rebuild. What I did not expect was to enjoy the Neustadt area as much as we did. We decided to do this tour our first night in Dresden and it was absolutely brilliant. Danilo was our guide and his affection for the area was evident from the very beginning. On this particular night, my wife and I were the only guests and we enjoyed that personal attention but it was clear that with a larger group, the fun would have been just as great. We learned a great deal about the history of the Neustadt area and walked through the entire quarter (it's not too big) to see really interesting parts of this very Bohemian community. We spent some time in a couple of bars and they were both full of that local feel. We particularly enjoyed Room 64 - really great place for cocktails! The whole tour of the area had us so enchanted by Neustadt that we ended up spending a good portion of the following day back in the same area. It just seems to draw you in and I do think the route and history Danilo shared with us had a lot to do with that.
