While catching fish on a charter is never a guarantee, we were able to catch grouper and amber jack. Such a relaxing and beautiful day.

Captain Mike and First Mate Elias were absolutely first class.These guys are masters of their craft — historians, experts at sea, chefs, and just genuinely great people. We got an amazing tour of Santorini from the water, learned about the history of the islands, snorkeled around a shipwreck, and spent the day exploring some incredible spots.Lunch was a highlight on its own. Captain Mike prepared bluefin tuna he had personally caught, along with his secret-recipe tomato fritters and several other delicious dishes. Everything was fresh, local, and prepared right on the boat.What really made the experience special was Mike and Elias themselves. Their knowledge, hospitality, and passion for Santorini and the sea made this so much more than just a boat tour.Cannot say enough good things about the experience. Giorgaros fishing tour was the highlight of our Greek vacation. The owner, Nicki picked each couple up at their hotel, He and his crew were friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable about the sights, types of fish and cooked our catches. Great follow up photos from Elias topped off their services. Highly recommend.

We did the fishing excursion with Giorgaros Fishing tours in Santorini in May 2022 and we loved it so much that we did it again in July 2025. Both times were exceptional! The crew is so friendly and did a wonderful job helping us fish, teaching us about the sea life, and generally making the trip amazing! Also, the food is delicious! It was a beautiful way to spend a morning away from the heat and crowds.We highly recommend this company to all visitors of Santorini and we would do it a third time if we return to Santorini.

This is a DO NOT MISS experience! Incredible views and a great way to see the island and avoid crowds and heat on land. The team communicated extremely well and gave fantastic instructions about where to meet. The Captain and crew were extremely friendly and did such a wonderful job teaching my family and I about fishing, with hands on opportunities that engaged all of us. The boat is comfortable and functional. We have done several sailing tours and this experience was in a class of its own with the added bonus of fishing! The lunch feast of the freshly caught fish was amazing. In addition to hosting us and teaching us Elias also took fantastic candid pictures - I can’t recommend Elias and Nikos and their team enough!!

We had a wonderful 5-hr sunset fishing trip and our teenage boys said it was the highlight of our two weeks in Greece!! Fishing was fun, fresh caught fish (and tomato fritters and salad!) was delicious and Captain Mikas and first mate Ilias are amazing people. It was not just a fishing trip but a cultural immersion. By the end of our trip we felt like we were fishing with old friends. We would definitely do this again.

A superb day with our 2 children with Makis and Ilyas! Extreme kindness and fascinating commentary and conversations! We caught a huge grouper that we were able to eat at the BBQ, we went snorkeling in clear water, we swam in hot springs, ... They know the places perfectly and the caldera visited with them takes on another dimension! We really enjoyed ourselves and the whole family was delighted, super comfortable boat! Authentic! It was a fantastic afternoon/evening on the water. The easy going nature of the whole group was memorable- especially in todays political world. We were US Americans & had such fun with the Greek crew and Chinese, British and Belgium guests. At first we were tentative but there were no cultural barriers as we swam, learned to hand fish and enjoyed pulling in the nets. Everyone cheered for each others catch no matter the size. Dinner was included in the trip - fresh fish, potatoes, salad - perfecto! The crew even surprised one guest with a delicious birthday cake as it was his birthday. As I think back to our weeks in Greece - it was my favorite day.

Our family gives this boat experience a 10/10. My husband and I and our three children (ages 16, 13, 10) had the absolute best time. Capt'n Makis and Elias are so knowledgeable and fun to spend the day with. My son (16) is an avid fisherman, while the girls just wanted a fun boat day, and this trip just checked all the boxes. We caught a golden grouper that we had for dinner, along with some amazing tomato fritters, salad, and bread and tzatziki. Swimming and snorkeling around the wrecks in the clearest water while they cooked dinner was unforgettable. We would love to come back to Santorini and do it all again!

The highlight of our time in Santorini! We had a blast fishing and snorkeling. My husband and I traveled with my parents (60s) and children (9,5) and they made sure each one of us was having fun. I can’t say enough about how much they included my girls in the fishing portion. My 5 year old just recently learned how to swim and was nervous about getting into the ocean from the boat. Captain Mike took her out on the paddle board and made sure she was able to feel comfortable before ever getting into the ocean. The boat is absolutely gorgeous.

Every bite tasted like the Aegean itself.As if that weren’t enough, we anchored near an incredible shipwreck that looked like something from a movie. Snorkeling around it was mesmerizing. The crystal, clear water offered astonishing visibility, with schools of colorful fish weaving through the wreckage and sunlight dancing across the submerged structure. It felt like exploring a hidden chapter of history beneath the sea.What truly elevated the day, however, was the warmth and generosity of the crew. They weren’t simply running an excursion, they were sharing a piece of their culture, their traditions, and their love for the island. Their hospitality was genuine, their enthusiasm infectious, and their attention to every detail exceptional.I’ve traveled extensively around the world, and very few experiences leave a lasting impression years later. This will be one of them. If you’re visiting Santorini and only have time for one unforgettable adventure, make it this one. We had a great day with Captain Mikish and his first mate Ilias. We trolled for and caught four 10-12lb Golden Groupers that Captain Mikish later prepared an amazing lunch with! The homemade tomato fritters were great too. The tour provided incredible views and a fantastic snorkeling experience in a private area far away from the crowds and even included a shipwreck to snorkel around and explore. The boat was brand new and custom designed by Captain Mikish a fourth-generation fisherman. I highly recommend this excursion.

This was my second time with Capt Makis & Ilia and somehow they managed to make the tour even better than the first time! We had a morning filled with laughter, amazing stories, and food. I will book this tour every time I’m in Santorini!

We had a fantastic time! Our group included 2 families, 10 total, mix of adults and kids. The boat had plenty of room and the captain and host were so friendly, informative and accommodating. The kids had a great time snorkeling and we all enjoyed the dinner. 2 thumbs up, we would highly recommend!

One of the highlights of our trip to Santorini! We spent a wonderful day on the water with our family, enjoying the beautiful scenery, learning about local fishing, and catching fish along the way. The captain and crew were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, making everyone feel comfortable and involved. We stopped for snorkeling and they made us a delicious meal with our catch.
